Puff #10, 1994:
Just got another Puff! Lots of information this month!
- Both "DNA" and "Tokyo University Story" will be animated into TV series very
soon. Gee, are they running out of manga to animate?
- OVA special has an interview with Fujishima Kousuke on "Taihou Shichauzo".
The first OVA will be the story of Miyuki and Natsumi's first encounter.
Also, Fujishima said he had been listening to Zard lately.
- OVA of "Yuu Yuu Hakusho" on sale Sep 21 and Oct 5. It is about a martial
arts competition. Kurama certainly looks fabulous. No wonder he is so
popular. I like his "fox" version.
- Clamp! Clamp! Clamp! A report on Clamp in wonderland! They drew a special
reversible poster with all girls characters on one side and boys on the
other. Girls are all wearing swimsuits (well, except Hinoto...) and guys are
all wearing tuxedo! Even I cannot recognise all of them. ^_^;

- Yes! This "Kuujou Joutaro" character from "Jojo's bizarre
adventure" (the 195cm green guy) had topped the poll! How bizarre!
With "Joseph" and this "Kakyouin Noriaki" following! All of a sudden!
Well, the reason? Read on...
- In their big event, Clamp in wonderland, apart from showing the special
anime "Clamp in wonderland" with various characters in it and the
announcement of the TV anime of "Magic Knight Ray Earth", they gave out a
doujinshi free to the audiences, and secretly confessed that they have been
drawing entries to the Puff poll to make Kuujou Joutarou from Jojo No.1 in
the poll! Well, they made it! This characters had 210 entries and topped the
poll, and from what they said, I figured that nearly all entries were done
by Clamp! Some of the drawings and messages were published, and they are so
funny.... Even the editor of Puff were very surprised by the postcards
mountain from Clamp. He said there must be more than 50 entries from each
member.
- There is a big special on Ookami Mineko this issue, focusing on "Dragon's
Knight". Ookami debuted in 1989 in Wings.
- There is a report on the summer comiket too, with costume people on a colour
page. There were people dressed up as characters from Street Fighter, Final
Fantasy, Sailor Moon, Queen Serenity, Azukin Chacha, Ryu Knight and even Yuu
Yuu Hakusho.
- A special on horror and mystery manga, with interviews of 4 mangaka who
specialised in drawing these manga. Some of them are very scary....
