Yamamoto Youko.. yeah, it's a pun on Uchuusenkan Yamato. (Star Blazers in the US). For a second, I thought it was a Tylor sequel, but hey.. they already got Tylor Kids. :) Director says he wanted to make a lively, fun anime with cute girls on mecha reminicient of space cruisers from the past SF anime. |

Story
Youko is a ordinary (??? ^^;;) girl in our time. For some unknown - plot device - reason, she ends up in the future, where interstellar battles happen more often than your daily snack time. She ends up busting into the war with her own TA-29. |
