Introduction
This new series is based on Yuuki Masami's (manga artist of Patlabor, Assemble Insert, Jaja uma Groomin Up, etc) unfinished manga of the same title. Since the original manga is unfinished, Yuuki himself joins the staff as editor. The story will be redone as original story, and have new characters for this OVA series. |

Story
An average Jr High student Senkawa Tsutomu encounters an alien federal officer, Birdie Altira Epsilon, who is chasing after intersteller criminal Crystila Lebi. She accidently attacks Tsutomu, leavning him near dead. To keep him alive, she merges with him, becoming a transforming hero/heroine. Does this sound familier to you? Yes, Ultraman... this is spoofing Ultraman's plotline. (shoud expect it with gag manga from Yuuki. =) |

There is an alien creature that look like its straight out of the movie "Alien" and its sequels, named "Giger". As you can see, we can expect more subtle, and not-so-subtle parodies in this anime. Director is Kawajiri Yoshiaki, and Character design is by Takahashi Kumiko. Animation studio is Madhouse. The video and LD are both simultanious release at the same price:
