Died: 25 Dec 1921 in Riga, Latvia

Piers Bohl taught at Riga but the Institute was evacuated to Moscow at the start of World War I. Returning to Riga in 1919 he was appointed professor but died 2 years later. He was the first to introduce quasi-periodic functions (not so named until 1903 by Esclangon). Harald Bohr was to produce a more general class than Bohl.
