Nicolaus(2) Bernoulli was a nephew of Jacob Bernoulli and Johann Bernoulli, Nicolaus(2) Bernoulli was appointed to Galileo's chair at Padua where he worked on geometry and differential equations. Later in life he lectured on logic and on law.
