Adelard made a Latin translation of Euclid's Elements from Arabic sources which was for centuries the chief geometry textbook in the West. He also translated al'Khwarizmi's tables, wrote on the abacus and on the astrolabe. His Quaestiones naturales consists of 76 scientific discussions based on Arabic science.
