PrintIt! prints IFF-Pictures on Epson-Compatible 9-Pin-Printers.

------  What does it?  ------

This program prints your Pix in many resolution. You have many ways to
convert color-pix to black&white ones.

------  Start:  ------

PrintIt! can be startet easily by clicking it twice to typing it to your
CLI. To load a picture immediately just shift-select it or give it as
CLI-Argument.

------  Color Pictures:  ------

A color picture has to be converted to a black & white one. There are the
following ways to do that:

  - Use just one Plane:
    Select the Planes Number in the range of 0..15 (e.g. 32 Colors = Planes
    0..4). Then click the `Use Plane # XX' gadget.

  - Create Greyscales:
    Select Greyscale. Then a Picture that 4 times as large as the original
    is created.

  - Convert:
    Select one of 16 brightnesses (0..15, 15 is darkest). Then click
    `Convert Pic' to start converting it.

------  The Main Window:  ------

Having Loaded / Converted your Picture, the Main Window appears:

 - Stretch:

   With the gadgets next to `Stretch' you can stretch the printout
   horizontally and vertically. If you select e.g. hori: 3 and vert: 2 your
   Hardcopy will be three times as wide and twice as high as it will be if
   you select 1 and 1.

 - Positive/Negative:

   This Gadget selects wether to set black or white pixels.

 - Print Single/Double:

   Double selects to print each line twice.

 - Dpi:

   You can select a horizontal resolution between 60 and 240 Dots per inch.
   240 causes the smalles printout.

   144 dpi can cause some problems on some Printers. My Citizen 120D
   supports it so I implementen 144 dpi.

   The vertical resolution can be 72, 144 or 216 dpi.

 - Repeat:

   With repeat you can print your Picture many times. `hor' selects how
   often to print it in a line and `ver' selects how many lines of Pix
   should be printed.

 - Print It !:

   This gadget starts printing. Printing can be stopped by clicking this
   gadget a second time.

 - Load Pic:

   Loads a new Picture.

 - Reset:

   Resetzt all Gadgets:
    - Strecht 1,1
    - Positive
    - print each line once
    - 240x216 dpi
    - Repeat 1,1

 - Aspect:

   Aspect is no Gadget. The filled Rectangle shows what your printout
   will look like.

Just select the Windowclose-Gadget.
