This file conains the explanations of all extra commands I have made in
jjanos. All other commands are the same as jnos. (See the jnos documantation.)

For examples look at the supplied JP scripts and the NOS-Startup. Most new
commands will be used there. Sorry if some texts are still in dutch.

.c.amiga

amiga sound
    Displays if the sound is on or off. You can also use 'sound'. See '.c.sound'
    for a more detailed explanation.

amiga status
    Displays if the statusline is on or off. The statuslines are displayed on
    the screentitlebar and the windowbar.
    ScreenBar:  Displays the number of connections and the nubers of te active
    	    	sessions. If text has arrived at a session, there is a '>'
    	    	bevore the session number.
    CommandWindowBar:
    	    	Shows the status of the BBS.
    SessionWindowBar:
    	    	Shows the status of the current connection.

amiga status on
    Turns the status lines on.

amiga status off
    Turns the status lines off.

amiga status refresh <time>
    Set te time in 1/1000 secons when the status line must be refreshed. Never
    use the value 0. Then jjanos will hang.

amiga status current on/off
    If status current is on then only the current session window status bar
    wil be refreshed. Else all session window's will be updated.

amiga test
    Never use this one. It is a test function.

amiga trace
    This has only one subcommand.   

amiga trace colour on/off
    If colour is on, than the trace output will contain ansi-codes to change
    the colour of the trace output. All protocol info will be white and the
    data will be black. (Depending on what colours you use.)


.c.sound
    jjanos supports sounds. There are a number of events witch can produce a
    sound.

sound listsound
    Show all loaded or defined sounds.

sound listtrig
    Show all triggers and witch sounds they produce.

sound on
    Put sound on.

sound off
    Put sound off.

sound play <soundalias>
    Play a defined sound.

sound soundadd <soundalias> <volume> <filename> [preload]
    Define a sound. <soundalias> is the name you can use in the other commands
    to refer to this sound. <volume> is the volume of the sound and <filename>
    is the soundfile to be loaded. Jjanos uses datatypes it can read all the
    samples your datatypes supports. If you give option preload, the sound
    will loaded into the memmory now else it wil be loaded when the sound is
    being used.

sound sounddel <soundalias>
    Remove a sound

sound trigadd <trigger> <soundalias>
    Define for a trigger witch sound is to be used. You can get a list of all
    triggers with 'sound triggers'.

sound trigdel <trigger>
    Remove a trigger.

sound triggers
    Show a list of all triggers available.

sound unload <soundalias>
    Unload a sound.



.c.session
    I have added two new subcommands to the session command. These are for a
    nicer look and feel of the userinterface.

session nicecolor on/off
    If nicecolor is on then the text you type will be white. Other text will
    be black.

session niceedit on/off
    If niceedit is on then incomming text will not weave with the text you are
    typing. This is a replacement of split session in normal jnos. Try it.



.c.module
    In jjanos you can define modules. A module is a call with a program.
    Modules only work for AX25 connections. You can define as many modules as
    you want. (Limited only by memory.)

module addbaken <iface> <srccall> <destcall> <interval> <start> <text1> [<text2>]
    Add a bakentekst. <iface> is the iface the baken must appear on. <srccall>
    and <destcall> are the call from and to the baken will be sent on.
    <interval> is the time in seconds betweend the broadcasts of the baken.
    <start> is the time in seconds the first baken will be send. <text1> will
    be send if attend=on and <text2> will be send if attend=off.

    Examples:
    module addbaken nos NL0JOR ID 1800 0 "Joran is present!" "Joran isn't present!"

    This wil send a baken every half hour.

module addcall <iface> <call> <modulename> <options> [<module specific options>]
    Add a call on iface <iface>. <modulename> must be one of the names defined
    in 'module modules'. Look also at 'module modules' for explanation of the
    <module specific options>. <options> are:
    J - Jumpstart   If this option is NOT defined then jjanos will wait for a
    	    	    line of text before the module is started.
    O - OpenSession This is only for the JP module (I think). If defined it
    	    	    will open a session when someone connects a JP call.
    N - No Options  To indicate that there are no options.
    For examples see NOS-Startup.

module bakens
    Give a list of all defined bakens.

module delbaken <iface> <srccall> [<destcall>]
    Remove all bakens on <iface> whith souce call <srccall> and optional
    destination call <destcall>.

module delcall <iface> <call>
    Remove a call and it's module from iface <iface>.

module list
    Give a list of all defined call's and it's modules.

module modules
    Give a list of all modules. Modules are:

    jp: 	This is the JP module with as module specific option the name of
    	    the JP config file.
    convers This is the converse bridge. No specific options.
    bbs 	This is the BBS module. No specific options.
    ttylink This is the normal TTYLINK module. No specific options.
    text    This module shows the file defined in the module specific option
    	    and waits for the remote user to disconnects.
    textdis This module shows the file defined in the module specific option
    	    and disconnects the remote user when he has received the text.


.c.jp
    JP is my GP/SP simulator. Rememeber jjanos/jp was never ment te be released
    in this state, so it isn't finished yet. But... It works...

jp 7plus
    This is for the support of automaticly save incomming 7plus files to disk.

jp 7plus dir <dir>
    Set the directiory where JP must put the incomming 7plus files.

jp 7plus start <first_line>
    The argument of this command must be the first line of a 7plus file.
    (Starting with go_7+.) Then a file while be openend and all other
    incomming text will be saved to this file. The file can be closed with the
    'file close' command. If there goes something wrong, a FAIL7PLUS event
    will be generated. See 'addevent'.

jp 7plus hash bytes|hash
    Set what type of progress indicator you want to use.


jp abort
    Abort a running JP remote command or trigger.

jp addevent <pri> <on> <level> <event> <exe1> [<exe2> ...]
    With this command you can tell JP what to do with a specific event.
    Current events are:
    	connect 	    	Someone has connected
    	attendedconnect 	Someone has connected and the station is attended.
    	    	    	    This event will always occur after the 'connect'
    	    	    	    event.
    	unattendconnect 	Like 'attendedconnect' but the station is
    	    	    	    unatended.
    	attended    	    Same as 'attendedconnect'.
    	unattended  	    Same as 'unattendedconnect'.
    	fail7plus   	    If there goes something wrong with 7plus.
    	failautobin 	    If there goes something wrong with autobin.
    	autorecvdone    	If a autobin file has compleately received.
    	msgnotcon   	    If 'jp message' had a argument of a JP channel
    	    	    	    that wasn't connected.
    	msgbusy 	    	If 'jp message' had a argument of a JP channel
    	    	    	    that was busy. (Gateway, BBS, convers, ect.)
    	cdnoperm    	    If 'jp cd' tries to change to a directory whithout
    	    	    	    propper access rights.
    	cdnopath    	    If the directory doesn't exists.
    	cantopensource  	If 'jp source' can't open the source file.
    For the explanation of on see 'jp on'. <level> is not implemeted yet. But
    it may not be omitted. It's going to be the <level> of the command. So you
    can indicate witch users may use this command. <exe1>, <exe2>, ... Are the
    commands to be executed. This are normal 'jnos' commands and ofcouse the
    extra jp commands. All commands will be executed, even if one of them
    fails. The only way to abort the execution of the next commands is to use
    the 'jp abort' command. 'jp abort' will mostly be used in triggers.

    The syntax of the commands is a bit strange, this is because I used the
    standard command interpeter of jnos. Each command must be enclosed between
    quotes. So if jou want to show the connect status in a command you must
    type:
    	"jp list"
    as command. But if you want to display a text, you must type:
    	"jp echo \"This is a test.\""
    Jnos knows then that you mean: jp echo "This is a test". If you go one
    level deeper with the quotes you wil get things like: \\\"

    In commands you can also use the following codes:
    $0 For the command name.
    $1 For the first parameter.
    $2 For the second paramter.
    $9 For the 9th parameter.
    $l For the whole line width the command.
    $r For the whole line without the command.
    These are taken from the incomming tekst. For examples see JP.cnf.


jp addremote <pri> <on> <level> <cmd> <exe1> [<ecx2> ...]
    <pri>, <on>, <level> and <exe1> ... are the same as explained in 'jp
    addremote'.
    <cmd> is a standard dos wildcard expression. Each incomming line will be
    parsed with this expression. If it is a match, than the command will be
    executed. In the example I use * as wildcard. You can only use this whan
    this option has been turned on in AmigaDOS. There are simple programs to
    do this, like StarII or lha ;) You can also replace all occurences of *
    by #?.

jp autobin
    These commando's are for the autobin support. If something goes wrong,
    then the 'failautobin' trigger wil be executed.

jp autobin dir <dir>
    Set the directory where the autobin files must be saved.

jp autobin hash bytes|hash <nbytes>
    Set the type of the progress indicator and the rate of updating of that
    indicator.
    
jp autobin ok
    No function. I don't know why it is there.... Hmmmm....

jp autobin open <file>
    Open a file. In this file the next incomming autobinfile will be saved. 

jp autobin receive <binline>
    Start the autobin receive. You must pass the #BIN#<size> line as
    argument.
    

jp close [<jpnum>]
    Close the current or <jpnum> jp session window. The jp-connection won't be
    closed, so the user on the other side can continue it's work. You can open
    a session window again with 'jp open <jpnum>'. You can find out what the
    current JP processes are with 'jp' or 'jp list'.

jp connect
    This commant works just like the standard connect command in the mailbox.
    So for ax25 connects you will type execute:
    jp connect <iface> <call> <digi> ...
    For a netrom connect you will type execute:
    jp connect <netromcall>

jp converse <channel>
    Start a converse session in this jp session. This command may only be used
    in a jp process. (in a jp remote command or jp trigger.)

jp echo <text> [<text> ...]
    This commands sends the <text> to the other side with a newline at the
    end. If you give more <text> then they will be concatenated without a
    space between them. For spaces you must enclose them between ". 

jp escape <chr>

jp file
    Some file commands. 

jp file cd <directory>
    Change the current directory of this jp process.

jp file cdundo
    ?????

jp file close
    Close an open 7plus file or open autobin file.

jp jpconnect <JP config file>
    What JP config file must be loaded when you use the 'connect' commando.
    (Standard JNOS connect.)

jp list
    Show all active JP sessions. This looks like a connect status. There
    doesn't have to be an open session window for a jp process.
    Num is the jp number and Ses is the session number. If Ses=-1 then there
    is no open session window for that jp session. You can open a window with
    the command 'jp open <jpnum>' and close a session window with 'jp close
    <jpnum>'.

jp listevents
    Give a list of all events you have installed with the 'jp addevent'
    command.

jp listremote
    Give a list of all remote commands you have installed with the 'jp
    addremote' command.

jp look on/off
    If 'jp look' is off then you can't see the incomming text. This is handy
    for the 'autobin' and '7plus' commands. (See JP.cnf)

jp lprint <text> [<text> ...]
    This commands sends the <text> to the other side with a newline at the
    end. If you give more <text> then they will be concatenated without a
    space between them. For spaces you must enclose them between ".
    And you can use the following symbols in the <text>.
    %c  The call of the connected station.
    %C  The call without the -1 /-15
    %n  The name of the connected station, if not known it will be the call of
    	the connected station.
    %z  Connection type. (Always AX25)
    %t  The current time.
    %d  The current date.
    %M  The mycall of this JP process. (Without -1 /-15)
    %m  The mycall of this JP process.
    %v  A short version string of the program.
    %p  The jp number. (port number)
    %P  The current directory.
    %l  The user level.
    %%  The % sign.


jp lzw
    I have add some compression command, so JP user can use compressed
    connectens. This doesn't work very good because lzw wasn't ment to be used
    on AX25 connections.
    
jp lzw on
    Turn on compression.

jp lzw off
    Turn off the compression. (Very buggie)

jp lzw bits <bits>
    Set the compression bit width...

jp lzw mode <?>
    Set te compression mode.

jp message <nl> <parse> <jpnum> <jptext> [event] [flush]
    Send a message to another jp process. If <nl>=on then a newline will be
    added to the message. if <parse>=on then the message will be parsed like
    'jp print'. <jpnum> is the number of the process to send the text to.
    <jptext> is the text to be send. There will only be send events when the
    'event' switch is set. The bufferd text will be send if the 'flush' switch
    is set.

jp on <lower> [<upper>]
    Set the range of remote commands and triggers that will be used. Every
    command/trigger has a 'on' value. The commands/triggers wil only be used
    if this 'on' falue is in the range <lower>..<upper>. If <upper> is omitted
    then <upper>=<lower>. Default <upper>=<lower>=1.

jp open <jpnum>
    Opens a session window for the JP processes <jpnum>. You can close this
    session window with 'jp close <jpnum>'.

jp print <text> [<text> ...]
    Like 'jp lprint' but without a newline at the end.

jp sendjptext <textfile> [<textfile> ...]
    This commands will open <textfile> and send it's contents to the other
    side. The text of the file will be formated like the text in the 'jp
    lprint' command. If you give more than one file all those files will be
    opened and send. If a file doesn't exists nothing will be send for that
    file.

jp source <commandfile>
    Executes a JP command file. You can use 'jp abort' anywhere to abort the
    execution.

jp system <prog> [<args> ...]
    Executes the AmigaDOS command <prog> whith arguments <args>. Jnos will
    wait until the commando has returned bevore it continues. The output of
    that <prog> will be send to the remote system.

jp version
    Shows the version information of JP.

jp quit
    To end the JP-Session

jp quit now
    End the JP-Session now.

jp quit wait
    Wait until the opposit side has received all text, and then quit.
