AmigaBee was set up by Steve Turner G6LPF (packet radio g6lpf@gb7uws) E Mail 70374.505@compuserve.com to provide a BBS service for enthusiasts of his two hobbies, amateur radio and...... you guessed it!

Amiga amateur radio files can be downloaded from AmigaBee BBS. Please note that ftp access is limited to weekends and evenings UK local time (GMT + 1 hour).

The BBS can also be dialed directly on UK telephone number 0181 695 5328 (24 hours).

For FidoNet users the BBS address is 2:254/214 Freq FILES for the latest list.

The file list can be obtained from: AmigaBee Amiga ham radio file list

Or you can request the latest Amiga ham list direct from AmigaBee using archie.

GET AARUG.TXT
This command will send the latest Amiga hamlist uuencoded to you direct
.Feel free then on to obtain files from the list in the same way. Please note that the file names will differ from the AARUG Library list. You must use the names obtained from beepd.htm">AmigaBee Amiga ham radio file list

You can use email for getting files/seaches on internet.

You can have full access to the AmigaBee BBS database using e-mail

Notes:

• Commands and addresses are not case sensitive
• You may leave the SUBJECT blank
• Only one file can be requested in each message
• The commands go in the message body:

GET AARUG.TXT - send Amiga amateur radio files listing
GET FILES.ZIP - send Zipped full file listing
GET (file name) - send file
For example: GET AMICOM22.LHA - sends file Amicon V2.2
PUT FILE.ZIP - upload a file example:file.zip to bbs
SEARCH database - search for file with descriptions containing DATABASE.

GET FILES.ZIP - send full bbs file list
