Unlike single bass drum notes which tend to produce an arythymical antistructure to popluar music and it may be argued, contains the seeds of no thought or arrangement by the composer. Static, non- moving arrangements are a result of single bass drums and the addition of an audience clapping between songs in a set is no subsitute! Instead, 'Drive Me Baby' is an example where I've strived for this bass drum effect in the music itself but provided enough scope within the musical score for a musical melody. Aesthetics aside, 'Drive Me Baby' is dedicated to Sue and Julian at Seasoft Computing whose experiences at the latter part of 1993 would drive anybody crazy, excluding the baby of course!
