LANDSCAPES

Below is a list of the landscapes I've created for Worms DC. By putting these into your WORMSDIY drawer, the computer can create random levels. Please note - these files will only work with Worms DC. And you'll have to unarchive them - the levels are all lha'd.

I've decided to make these files downloadable one by one, rather than all at once. This way, you can choose which levels you like the look of rather than just having to download a bunch of levels arbitrarily. That said, I'm rather proud of my levels - they're not up to the standard of the original Team 17 levels, but not bad - certainly better than most of the levels available, if I do say so myself.

Have a look at the pictures below, and, when you've decided that you want to download one, simply click on the picture of your choice and the full Worms level will be downloaded to a local directory of your choice.

BATHROOM.diy

The bathroom level was the first DIY landscape I created. The image to the rightof this text shows a crudely-drawn mock-up of what of the levels might look like.

BLACKDRESS.diy

This level was based upon an image I found in a magazine. I produced my own computerised version of the lass, drew her in different sizes, and created some landscape for her to sit on. The picture to the right shows her in her largest form (not real size :)

BMAP.diy

Or Bangers Mash And Peas. Pretty self-explanitory, really.

BONES.diy

The dead rise! Skeletons sprouting from the ground ! Giant skulls! Huge gravestones with the name "Bill" on it! Quake with fear at this dodgy level! To the right you can see some of the components you could run into on a proper level.

BOULDERS.diy

Get your rocks off, get your rocks off honey... Or, rather, pull out some bigs guns and blast those boulders to smithereens!

CHEESE.diy

This level contains cheese in various forms: on cocktail sticks, in cubes, wrapped in plastic packages, and more.

MOONY.diy

This level is set on the moon, and therefore plays in very low gravity. To the right you can see some of the various bits and bobs to be foundon these levels.

POTATO.diy

This landscape is based upon the classic children's toy, Mr Potato Head. To the right you can see Mr Potato Head himself, although in the levels you're nore likely to encounter spare bits of him...

RETRO.diy

This landscape celebrates various classic "retro" games, featuring my interpretations of characters from such games as Dizzy, Robotron and Space Invaders.

SCHOOL.diy

Relive your classic schooldays. Paper, pens, rubbers, paints, paintbrushes... This landscape tends to have loads of small level-components dotted about, and so makes for busy levels.

SURVIVOR.diy

The components of this level are based upon the logos used in the magazine that I write for, Amiga Survivor. The logos are all versions poorly drawn by myself, but as far as a landscape goes this one a good one to play on.
