Welcome. It's just a few days in to the New Year, and the news of yet
another new owner has had plenty of time for discussion, not to
mention applause and relief that those who own the Amiga actually
know what one is! This couldn't have come at a better time for us
because the great World Of Amiga machine has again been cranked up
and is ready to go. We're pleased to say that the new owners are
behind us 100%, as is Petro (who has always given us his
support). Currently, Fleecy Moss's favoured dates are around the
early summer period. The reason for this is primarily to ensure that
there is an appropriate gap between the three main Amiga shows in the
world (the other two being St. Louis in the US, and Home Electronics
World in Germany). It's likely that we'll be changing the venue again
this year. Despite Kensington being a great venue (well, we thought
so), it was a little pricey, and the parking left a little to be
desired. There has been much talk about holding the show somewhere
more central in the UK to make it a bit fairer for those travelling
down from the north. We'll keep you posted as more details become
available...
Make sure you check out lookalikes, and if you haven't seen it already, look up the User Group Discount Scheme. If you've got Internet access, make sure you check out our website during the month. Assuming all goes according to plan, you should see something very special. Something (else) no other Amiga website has offered (and in many cases, will not be able to offer). Until next month... |
