I think most people on the 'net have thought about producing their own web pages, after all, we all have access to the necessary space needed to store our pages to be viewed by people all over the world - whether it's with your ISP or free space providers such as Geocities or Tripod.
Many are put off though, thinking that it is difficult... True, creating "good" pages is not that easy, but HTML (HyperText Markup Language) itself is actually quite easy to learn - it's knowing how to use/manipulate it to get a page layed out how you want that can be a pain in the rear end. But, basically, anyone can create a basic web page with a few simple tags and a little knowledge.
