For immediate release. Announcement: Friday June 11th 1999 South West Amiga Group Directory Opus Tutorial and raffle. I am pleased to announce that Ben Vost, editor of Amiga Format, has kindly agreed to do a demonstration and tutorial on Directory Opus Magellan II (visit the GPSoftware homepage at http://www.gpsoft.com.au). This demonstration will cover installation, general configuration and how to get the best from Opus Magellan II. You will also get the chance to meet and talk about Amigas in general with Ben. Although anyone is welcome to come along, South West Amiga Group members get preference for places. Any spare places will be given out on a first come, first served basis so please contact Andrew Mills at one of the addresses below, if you wish to attend. To coincide with this, there is a brand new, unopened, copy of Opus Magellan II up for raffle (v5.80, I will also include the recent 5.81 update on a separate floppy disk). This raffle is also open to non SWAG members, but to UK residents only. Entry to the raffle costs £1 a time, or £2.50 for three entries for South West Amiga Group members. Please send your entries with your complete name, address, telephone number, number of entries required and an SAE to: South West Amiga Group C/O Andrew Mills 44 Allerton Crescent Whitchurch, Bristol, BS14 9PU Please make cheques or postal orders payable to Andrew Mills, or if you send cash, please enclose the correct amount between two pieces of card so it's not obvious as to what is in the envelope. Please note that while this will take place in August and in Bristol, the exact date and venue has yet to be confirmed. I also hope to get Ben Vost to pick the winner at the Demonstration /if/ my expenses have been met by that time, if not, I will pick the winner (at random) at the South West Amiga Group pub meeting on the 7th October 1999. If you have any queries, please contact Andrew Mills at the above address or email me at swag@wharne.u-net.com |
