Some programs you'll have to use
If you want to install games patched by Harry, you'll need the Patcher. Version 1.04, directly comes from Harry.
If you want to install some games patched by Harry, Bert, Girv, Mr Larmer or Gore Design, you'll need WHDLoad. I don't use WHDLoad because I developped my system in parallel, but WHDLoad is cool.
If you want to use my new loaders, then you'll have to get JOTDStartup, a WHDLoad equivalent, but more powerful :)
Look inside the games
If you want to patch/write your HD installers yourself, those pieces of
software can help you (all are freely distributable freeware/shareware):
- HRTMon, a powerful shareware monitor by Alain Malek, tested on successfuly 68060.
I registered this utility and I won't regret it (even if it's completely free now!!!)
- IRA by Tim Ruhesen is fine too. I use it on a daily basis.
- Asm-One the powerful assembler programming environment.
- WRip, a cool ripper for files by Bert Jahn.
Assemble your loaders
- PhxAss, the one I'm using, on aminet, free now, and very good!
- Barfly, the one used to assemble OSEmu, also on aminet, free now, and very good!
