MiniED instruction

Note: The program will be called MiniED. EMiniED is the English version of 
	  MiniED. 

1. What is special about MiniEd?

MiniEd is a Texteditor, which can also save Ftxt - texts.  It
offers extremely comfortable help for writing of Amiga-Guide
and Html - texts.

Now here is version 2.
What can it do?  Well,  first of all I am ready with the ANSI support.
It is (almost) finished.  I would like to apologize first! 
I have interpreted some Amiga-Guide commands completely wrong.
The consequence was, that the AmigaGuide - support was no large
help.  And otherwise?   I didnīt  expand the Html support.  
Why that? I had already resonance on it.

I had no more time for HTML. I was put under pressure because of the
publication of the English version.
These were the things most important: 
AmigaGuide - Error eradicate, HTML <-> ASCII converting,
installing ANSI.  I wanted this version to be released as quickly
as possible.
Therefore the old sentence again:  
While you read this, I am building V2.1 with expanded Html - support.
This version is now in English. Finally Iīve finished it. 
I would like to start an appeal.

But please understand that I will need some time.
I am a pupil of the 12th class and school occupies most of my time.

What is new?

- The searchfunction works completely
- more buffers
- Ansi
- improved AmigaGuide - support

Printing doesnīt work perfectly.  Theoratically ( according to  "Das
große AmigaBasic Buch" )  you would be able to print Ansi - characters.  
When I tested, it did not function.
I will try, to correct that.
Perhaps somebody can help me.

1.1 installation
You must install the "MiniED.library" in the "Libs:".

The library is necessary for loading and saving as well as printing of
Ansi-texts.  It slowes these processes extremely.
However the ANSI-support works. It canīt work without the library.  
If you donīt want to use Ansi-texts, switch the
library off.  
It is used then no more and the functions go more quickly.
The library does not work at all if:

- you use the Textformat ASCII
- you load or save Ftxt - texts.

This software is subject to the "Standard Amiga FD-Software Copyright Note".
It is Freeware as defined in paragraph 4a.

3. The menus


Project

New
Deletes the current text

Load
Here a text can be loaded.

Save
Here a text can be saved.

Print
The current text is printed

Library
Here you can switch off the library. 
This condition can be saved with "Save Config".

Info
Information


Edit
Here you learn how to mark a Textblock.  You mark the
beginning by a doubleclick on the line.
With a second doubleclick the end is marked.

Delete
Deletes the block

Copy
Copies the block

Paste
Attaches the block.

Special

Textformat
Here you can select, whether the text should be saved in ASCII or FTXT.

CLI
Calls up the CLI.

Filename
Here you can insert a filename into the text.

File insert
Inserts a file into the text.

Search
Searchrequester is called up.
You choose between finding a string or replacing it by an other one.

Save Config.

Here you can save, whether the library should be used or not.  The
information is saved in "S:MiniED.con".

4.  Scriptlanguages

If you select a language in the menu "Insert", a list appears.  With 
a doubleclick the corresponding order is processed.  At the end of
the questions a passage is inserted in the text.  At the moment
no Frames and Usercommands are inserted.
I worry about it as soon as the English V2 is released.  I presuppose the
knowledge of the scriptlanguages as far as it is necessary.
Files, which are called up by HTML, are always inserted 
with a local path. For Internetpages this path must be deleted!


5.  Buffers

You can select a part of the text in the same way as in the menu  "Edit".
You can save it then with  "copy in buffer".
Therefore MiniED shows a list of buffers.
With  "Get from buffers" you can insert this buffer in the text again.

6.Text
Here you can transform the special characters of HTML into ASCII or
reverse.
