Issue #4 - April 1999

Welcome to another issue of the award winning Amithyst! It was very nice (and surprising) to see last issue branded the reader submission of the month in Amiga Format Magazine. It made all the hard work seem worthwhile. But I'm sure there must be things you don't like about Amithyst, so please send me your constructive criticism at amithyst_mag@yahoo.com. If you want to remain anonymous, you can always use our survey form to give us your opinion on each of the sections, and also to let us know what you like, so that we can make sure it gets enough coverage.

This issue we have an interview with Stuart Walker from Digital Images, who are working hard to bring Wipeout 2097 to the Amiga, as well as original titles such as Space Station 3000. We also have some reviews of older games, which are still widely available, but at really low prices.

On the science fiction side of things, we have previews of the Wing Commander film and the Total Recall TV series. And we have reviews of Red Dwarf VIII and a number of films now out on video. There is also another great short story and some excellent pictures in the gallery.

If you are a fan of Games Workshop miniature figure games, have a look at Black Anvil in the Features section, which lists all the latest releases and news about the hobby. And don't forget to send in your battle results if you play Warhammer or Warhammer 40k, so that they can be added to the bigger picture.
