Wirenet Amiga Internet

Wirenet Software Installer

Your Wirenet account has been set up and you are ready to install the software.

  1. The download has been split into four archives, each small enough to fit on a 720K PC formatted disk, for those downloading via a PC. You need to download these four files:

    WirenetInst1 (613K)

    WirenetInst2 (660K)
    WirenetInst3 (577K)
    WirenetInst4 (594K)

  2. Unarchive the four files to a temporary directory (or RAM:)

  3. Read the installation section in Wirenet.guide and then run the installer

  4. Make sure you have your account confirmation letter or email to hand when you install. This contains the information you will need when installing for your account.

  5. If you wish to use Miami instead of AmiTCP, first install the software as above and then read the instructions on the Wirenet support pages for details of using and configuring Miami. Yes, Miami does need to be configured, MiamiInit only makes a half-hearted attempt to get a setup that works, rather than the best possible setup. There is room for a lot of improvement over the MiamiInit settings.

Note:

There is a delay of several hours between an account being created and it becoming available for use. If you received your account confirmation by email you should wait until the follwoing morning before you try to access it. If you try earlier than this and get a password or login error, please don't start altering your account configuration but wait.

If you have any questions about using your account, first check the Wirenet support pages. If you need further assistance please email Wirenet Support.
