Hardware supported by Picasso96

Minimum requirements:

• Amiga with Kickstart 3.x and Motorola MC68020 processor or better or a system running the UAE Amiga emulator,
• more than 4 MB of available RAM,
• VGA monitor or compatible,
• at least one of these boards:
• CyberVision3D,
• CyberVision64,
• Domino,
• Merlin,
• oMniBus,
• PicassoII,
• PicassoII+,
• PicassoIV,
• Piccolo,
• Piccolo SD64,
• Pixel64,
• Retina BLT Z3,
• Spectrum,
• UAEgfx.

Recommended for optimum performance and usability:

• accelerator board using Motorola MC68040 or MC68060 CPU and local fast RAM,
• 8 MB of fast RAM,
• hard drive,
• Amiga 3000/4000 with a ZorroIII graphics board (e.g. PicassoIV),
• a decent state-of-the-art VGA monitor (Multisync) with a maximum line frequency of more than 64kHz offering resolutions upto 1024x768 in 75Hz refresh at least.

• PentiumII,
• 32 MB RAM,
• graphics board with AGP bus interface.

Currently not supported:

• Phase5 CyberVisionPPC because we don't have one (and no CS MkIII or CS PPC to use it with either),
• Phase5 BVisionPPC because we don't have one (and no Blizzard to use it with either), too,
• Macrosystem Retina Z2 due to missing linear mapped memory access,
• Commodore A2410 due to also missing linear mapped memory access.

If you are really interested to get support for a currently not supported board, lend us one for development or ask its maker to do so. Depending on the sort of problems we face we would probably need the board for about four weeks to get a basic driver up and running.
