--- PROJECT-X SPECIAL EDITION Hard Disk Installer ---

This installer requires the ORIGINAL disks from Project-X SE 93 (there are 3).
It should NOT work for cracked versions or the first release of Project-X.

The HD-Patched game will need at least 2Mb of memory (LOWMEM).

FEATURES:

- Runs fully from HD/RAM
- Installer script provided
- Uses JOTDStartup (JST) not included
- Full use of fast memory
- You can access all the 5 levels at once.
  The choice is not limited to levels 1,2,3.
- Now runs on a standard A1200/NoFast.
- A TRAINER tooltype allows you to get infinite lives.
- Load/Save Hi-Scores now work with hard drive. No need for floppy
- F10 key allows you to quit the game from the main menu.

BUGS:

There are some annoying bugs I did not succeed to remove yet:

- You have to load the high scores by the LOAD SCORES option. This is not done at startup.
- Do NOT use a copyback disk cache on your games partition. This could be harmful if you reboot
  the computer before you quit the game, if you use the SAVE SCORES option (disk buffers not
  updated). Anyway, if you are afraid, you can still use floppies to save your games if you
  set the NOOSSWAP tooltype/argument.
- Sometimes the game asks for disk 2 or disk 3, or refuses to work without the NOOSSWAP
  tooltype. In that case, switch off and on your amiga and it will work again
  (a Blizzard 12x0 problem ?, anyway I'm not sure it still occurs with this version)
- The install part has some problems with disk 1 sometimes. You'll get an error message. If so,
  just reboot and try again. I don't know why this happen, but anyway, once installed, you
  won't have to worry anymore.

- Fix the bugs :)

CHEAT MODE:


To skip levels during the game press and hold down the right mouse button
and then hit the [Escape] key, the screen will then turn black.
Now with your finger still on the right mouse button press the [Return]
key and you will be warped to the next level.



Enjoy this GREAT game from Team 17 on your HD (easier than the original edition)
