| Hurricane Studios who are involved in making Eat The Whistle and Escape Towards The Unknown, have also entered into collaboration with X-Treme Software who left the Amiga over two years ago when their racing game did not do well in terms of sales. This collaboration will see the porting of X-Treme Software's title, Virtual Ball Fighters from the pc to the Amiga. |

Virtual Ball Fighters is a puzzle game set on a distant desolated world, where a terrible and interminable war has reigned for many years with the population exhausted, total planet destruction is now imminent. To avoid this, some wisemen belonging to the supreme council, have decided unanimously to announce a tournament that can declare the absolute winner, the one who will be finally able to reign uncontested... but does it mean that it will be always like this?
The purpose to Virtual Ball Fighters is to place three or more marbles of the same colour horizontally, vertically or obliquely, sounds easy but what makes the game fascinating is the necessity to defeat your opponent, by the use of a bonus which allows you to receive help during the most exciting part of the game's phases which can allow you to increase the opponent's marble speed of slope, decrease own marble speed of slope, special shots, dirty trick, fatality, input malfunction, recovery of energy and so on. |

Before playing the game their are a number of characters to choose from, each can affect the game features as each fighter has their own particular features different from the other fighters for example rotation speed of his marble, a certain amount of luck, hits endurance, and power. The background will also change according to the characters choosen.
Virtual Ball Fighters will be played in different modes - tournament, team, player vs computer, player vs player, and more with it being played by either keyboard, joystick and joypad. |
