               PAYROLL PLUS - MAIN MENU OPTIONS

EMPLOYEES - View, edit or enter new employee information in the
Employee Master File.  Holds all necessary information regarding each
employee, including all individual tax information.

PAYROLL - 1) Enter a new payroll period date, or change the current
date. 2) Enter a new payroll. 3) Calculate pay amounts, deductions,
and taxes for all records in the currently selected payroll. 4) Update
the Year to Date file with a new, current or previous payroll. 5) View
a previous payroll. 6) Set up the system for a new year.

REPORTS - Make reports in 45 different configurations, according to
group and order selections.  In addition, set a range to make reports
even more specific as needed.  Reports are Employee Master, Labels,
Payroll Register, Quarterly Tax Register, Year to Date Audit,
Paychecks (3 to choose from), Check Stubbs only, W-2, and W-3.

YEAR TO DATE RECORDS - View each employee's year to date payroll
records.  Page 1 shows currently updated payroll amounts, currently
updated monthly payroll amounts, currently updated quarterly payroll
amounts, and total payroll amounts for the year.  Page 2 shows payroll
amounts for all 4 quarters of the year.  If needed, the quarterly
amounts on Page 2 may be edited.

COMPANY INFORMATION - View, edit, or enter new information in the
Company Information File.  Enter company information and tax numbers,
enter current year, name deduction categories, assign and name
accounting #s, select printer, set screen mode & size, assign default
index, and set passwords.

TAX TABLES - Holds tables and amounts for Federal withholding, FICA,
Medicare, Federal Exemption, FUTA, SUTA, SDI, ETT, and AEIC.  All
these may be entered and edited.  Changes to state withholding tables
and amounts will be handled by update releases of the Payroll Plus
program. 

MAINTAIN FILES - Allows for backing up data files as well as
reorganizing data files if needed.  


Caution
 - Avoid the use of SBase4Pro pull down menus or function keys
with Payroll Plus.  All needed functions are available through Payroll
Plus command buttons and function keys.  Use of some SBase4Pro pull
down menus and function keys may cause improper functioning of Payroll
Plus.
