Can I use the SMD-100 to play custom MPEG streams from gold disc?

Yes you can, but it will require a change of firmware. Please call us to discuss your requirements.

Can I use my computer monitor for playback?

Yes, provided your monitor scans down to 15kHz (the normal television frequency). Most Amiga monitors are suitable, many Apple monitors are suitable, some multiscan monitors are suitable, VGA monitors are not suitable.
