The exact manufacturer and model of CD writer the we stock changes from time to time, depending on price and availability. Naturally, no matter which model we supply you with, we will have tested it fully on the Amiga with the MakeCD software.

Currently we are stocking the Ricoh MP6200S, which is a rewriter - this means that as well as burning normal CD-R discs, you can also use special CD-RW discs which can be erased and rewritten again and again and again...

Our external cases are robust and come with their own power supply. SCSI ID selection is made simple via a switch on the back that clearly displays the current ID number. Also on the back are stereo audio output sockets, enabling you (for example) to connect your CD writer to your hi-fi and play standard music CDs, controlling what tracks get played via software running on your Amiga. Twin SCSI sockets enable you add the unit anywhere in your SCSI chain.
