New This Month: This month we've added a few new things for you to look at. The NetBSD section has been brought up to date, infact Chris has got just one more article to finish off comparing NetBSD and Linux, and there are 3 new product r eviews for you to read through. Also behind the scenes we have introduced a new program to our ever growing suite of cgi scripts, "Soul Hunter". Our recently launced lost souls section has received such an overwhelming response that processing the data by hand simply isn't an option. This is where the "Soul Hunter" comes in. It stores all the lost souls data in it's own database and once a week, using our unique postcode database it calculates the distances between everyone in the database and highlights people who live close to each other. And in case you're wondering, yes we did "borrow" the name from Babylon5.

Hello and welcome to AmigaSoc UK's web site. Here you can find out everything and anything about the Amiga scene in the UK. We've got Amiga product reviews and features, UK Amiga news and links. You'll also find a whole range of services that we offer to all Amiga owners such as our helpdesk. If you've got an Amiga related question or problem then fill in a form and we'll do o ur best to help you. You can leave messages for other Amiga owners via our grafitti wall, buy and sell goods using our totally automated classifieds section and locate your nearest Amiga resources using our unique postcode based search engines. Currently we have only implemented the Usergroup locator but as soon as we have enough data watch out for our dealer and repair center locator!

What you may not also realise is that AmigaSoc UK is far more than just a web site. To numerous and diverse to mention all over this site you'll find details of other events AmigaSoc UK has organised or helped in organsising, from Usergroup meetings and n ewsletters to Developer Conferences at Amiga shows throughout the world.
