This version use some options from Kick 2.0+ & it can not work on Kick1.3 Anyone with Kick 1.3 could send me email ? Anyone want kick 1.3 ? Installation ------------ Playerek needs only 2 things to run - any amiga (kick 2.0+ or above) - few things like iconify, app window etc use kick 2.0+ so be careful on 1.3 - reqtools library in 'Libs:' drawer optionally med.library to hear med modules What the hell is Playerek ? -------------------------- It's a tiny proggy that allows to hear Pro/Star Tracker and Med modules (with med.library) (when i start to write it there wasn't so many of it) If you are searching for program who plays all module format then get deli/eagle tracker. This is not what you want. Features: Sprite Equalizer (at the moment only for Pro Tracker) visible on any system screens. Fe: ViewTek, Directory Opus, Civilization... Low memory usage about 32kb main proggy (dir takes about 12k) +40kb reqtools Many decrunch formats (lha, xpk, CrM, pmc, powerpacker) need more ? write to me CIA player Works on any kick-start You can put it in startup-sequence (have some problems when setpath QUIET is in too) Magic WB Drag & Drop Icons (Try it, at the moment only for first one) KnownBugs: Doc in very bad English I get 1 report that Playerek have some problem with modem. My friends and i, use it for long time with parnet, sernet, sampler, printer, cdrom, digitalizer, twinexpress without any problems. Anyone with modem could send me an email ? Decrunch formats ---------------- Playerek can decrunch following formats: .pp powerpacker with powerpacker.library .xpk xpk xpkmaster.library and some sublibs .pmc lh lh.library .crm crunchmania CrM.library .lha (.lzh) lharc lha somewere on Yor disk .lzx lzx lzx - - - NOTE TO XPK: there are libraries for 68020 and others. So USE one for Your procesor XPK LIBRARY DOSEN'T CHECK THIS !!! You just get a guru Use xpkSQSH library for modules. Its appear to be the best and fastes at the moment for floppy disk users best is crunchmania or lh (there is a program called pmc with Power Player who can (de)crunch modules) Icon Options ------------ dir=(Your desired directory) for example dir=dh1:modules up to 150 letter mod=(Your desired module (full path!)) fe: mod=dh1:modules/mod.galaxy ii.xpk will be loaded and played at start - up to 100 info=(YES)(NO) show pattern pos, speed on workbench bar, default is NO equ=(0->3) diffrent equalizers 0=no equlizer replay=(0>3) 0rnd 1prev 2next 3replay current replay current module or load rnd module from list default is 0 (have no use with med module) replays reload modules when song reached its end or after 2 Bxx commands lha=lhark options lzx=- - - - - - - tempdir=where to decrunch lha lzx savepath= where to save modules ;look at icon for more info CLI Options ----------- PLS (-options) (module to load) x = at start load xpkmaster.library p = - - - - - powerpacker.library c = - - - - - CrM.library l = - - - - - lh.library m = turn multitasking at start [normal will load all libraries, modules if you start from floppy don't turn on this option, or your floppy will start to spring left right. q = quiet start no choose file at start [just window s = no sprite for example: PLS -pm df1:mod.how 2 skin a cat.pp will load powerpacker.lib[p] multitasking at start[m], load and play df1:mod.how 2 skin a cat.pp Options 'xpcl' are useful only for disk users, with that options Playerek will load those libraries at start, and later you won't need to change disk You can allso use '"' in module name now ! :)) GADGETS ------- From left to right: The case of key is important! (that was the hard one :)) TRASH = Free memory occupied by module (and stops play :)) RND = Random module from list ABOUT = Autor address, memory info RESTART = Restart module options next/prev/replay/rnd EQU e = Equilser options JUMP = After 3 seconds Playerek jump to first screen NOTE: IF Window cannot be opened (screen is to low) Playerek sends 'display beep' and after 3 seconds will try again :) ZZ = Iconify Playerek MAGNIFY i = Sample names * RECORD S = Save uncrunched module * --------|-------|--------------------------------------------------------- Things with * works only for ProTracker type modules, med.library don't have options for this, (anyway i listen only 'BigTimeSensuality' in med) and i DO NOT have any good med module format explanation... Other my programs: NoMem - little proggy that show guru when allocmem fails Usefull if you wanna know why some programs don't want to start..
