No theme this time, apart from a murder mystery involving golems in Terry Pratchett's 43,285,584,694th Discworld book. This time Terry re-introduces us to Samuel Vimes and Lord Vetinari (who gets poisoned) and expands the Discworld mythos with golems who, like tradition states, can work endlessly and have pieces of paper in their heads with programs on them to follow.

There's the usual assortment of jokes, puns and skewing of common sense that always goes on in Terry's books and, much like all the others, its an enjoyable read that's not too taxing. However, his best books are always the ones that have a theme like Moving Pictures or Maskerade since they open up the area of film or opera jokes that this book lacks.

Not one of his best then, but still a damn sight funnier than hundreds of other books...
