Max Guidi & Jolyon Ralph: Collected all the data, sorted it out, watched scrolly demos until our eyes hurt, and made this CD. Seb Lee-Delisle : Cover artwork and design plus a few modules. Thanks to Russ Wark and Alan Pires for the vast amount of PD demos they contributed! This is version 1.0 published in September 1992 If you would like to see any of your public domain software/demos on the next update of this CD, then please send them to us at the address above. The best submissions will receive free CDTV software from Almathera Systems. DemoCD Copier ------------- The DemoCD Copier is a program that installs the demo disks found in your DemoCD on to a floppy disk. It requires an external floppy disk drive on an Amiga CDTV, A570 owners have DF0: built in their A500. Here's how to use it: Using the scroll bar on the right of the window find a demo you want to install to disk. Then click on the demo name to select it and then click on one of the disk drives gadgets at the top called (DF0:,DF1:,DF2:,DF3:) in order to select a disk drive to be used. If you only have one floppy disk drive attached to your machine, use DF0: Now please put a floppy disk in the drive, please note you DO NOT have to format the floppy disk first. n.b. MAKE SURE THE DISK YOU ARE ABOUT TO USE DOES NOT CONTAIN IMPORTANT DATA BECAUSE THE COPIER WILL OVERWRITE EVERYTHING THAT IS ON IT REGARDLESS OF WHAT IT IS. You will now see a window showing you the disk about to be made and whether you are sure to go ahead or not. Once you clicked on "YES WAY!" please wait for the disk to be made for you. When the disk has been made you may or may not get an error message from workbench saying something like "KEY 880 CHECKSUM ERROR". IGNORE THE MESSAGE, YOUR DISK IS OK, IT'S JUST THAT MOST DEMOS DO NOT USE THE SAME KIND OF DISK FORMAT AS WORKBENCH DOES. Now, if you want to see the demo simply put the demo in your disk drive and reset your machine. Please note, not all demos will run on every Amiga CDTV or Amiga system. We hope you enjoy this product. Max Guidi & Jolyon Ralph.
