tDarwinism on the ScenetMagellan & The Rippertfpc01s2f1 DARWINISM ON THE SCENE c02 by Mallegan/Royal^P303^SI with responses by The Ripper and Shade c02 The Ripper c03 has talked about a very interesting topic in the last issue of Generation which attracted me so much. I would like to add a couple of words to his statements. The Ripper wrote about nationalistic and separating tendencies in the nowadays Scene and he doesn't seem to like it (as well as I understand it). I would like to say c02why notc03? Let's look at the world around us - every single part of any matter can be divided into smaller parts which c04"fight"c03 against each other and thisc04 "war"c03 makes the matter itself. For example f4atomsf1 - the ultimate bricks of everything you can find in the Universe. They move, they hit each other to find their own place for living. If the atoms didn't move and crash, there wouldn't be the f4life itselff1! I suppose the Scene to be the c04samec03 matter consisting of c02moleculesc03 (national Scenes), c02atomsc03 (groups) and c02electrons/protonsc03 (individual Sceners). In according to the overall physical laws, there are various things we must assume: c01a)c02 the smallest parts of matter (protons, electrons, neutrons) are commonly concentrated in atoms or are freely moving among them. Protons and neutrons create the f4coref1 of the atom and the electrons move in circles around the core. The Scene? We have individual Sceners who make cores of atoms (groups) - the c03protonScenersc02 and c03neutronScenersc02 who are active inside their own groups and make the core of the c03atomGroupc02. We also have the less active (or inactive) c03electronScenersc02 who just move around the active core of the c03atomGroupc02 and easily leave the structure (as well as easily join the structure). c01b)c02 the atoms move and hit each other. It depends on their weight, height and speed of their moving. The Scene? The atomGroups have various weights, heights and speeds. They move (evolute) and their paths are overcrossed by other moving atomGroups. Every atomGroup hits the others (they compete). c01c)c02 the atoms join themselves to form molecules. The Scene? The atomGroups of each country form f4nationalf1 Scenes - the molecule of national atomGroups. Now we have moleculeScene. c01d)c02 the molecules form the matter itself. The Scene? The f4nationalf1 Scenes (moleculeScenes) form the international Scene (the matterScene). c03 What an interesting point of view I say! The matter of the world must exist according to the physical laws. Everything must - so does the Scene itself! If there were no f4separatingf1 tendencies, no nationalism - the Scene would c04diec03! Evolution means c02fightc03! Physics means c02fightc03! The Scene means c02fightc03 as well! f3c04aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa c09 f1 THE RIPPERS' RESPONSE c10 Dear Magellan,c08 I'm glad my article has attracted you so much to write a sort of reply to my thoughts, but, honestly, I can't really get your f4pointf1 here. You've shown a good knowledge of physical topics, that's true, and your wise words are supported by correct information. But I find your comparison c07Scene = Matterc08 really f4forcedf1. You've forgotten the c09Scenec08 itself is a sociological phenomenon which f4canf1 be explained using juridical, statistic or psychological tools (just to mention some), but that f4can'tf1 be certainly not reduced to physical terms. If so I could explain and justify everything and the opposite of everything. You've forgotten that every theory which tries to explain something starts with the description of an effect, a result and then tries to get the source of this result. In other words a theory has to shown why something happens, but, be f4carefulf1, it's fundamental to find the link between cause and effect. You've stated that: Scene c07(A)c08 is Matterc07 (B)c08 which is Energy (atoms c09"fighting"c08 each other). So, if maths is not an opinion as c07A=Bc08 andc07 B=Cc08 thenc07 A=Cc08, is your conclusion. c07Wrongc08, Magellan. c07Wrong. c08 c071.c08 As I said Scene is not c07matterc08, and can't even be f4comparedf1 to that. Scene is just a name some men have given to a chain of human actions. It has no sense to affirm anything else. c072.c08 Let's suppose Scene is (which definitely isn't) or can be c09comparedc08 to Matter. If so, thus does not mean that as Matter uses to act in a particular way also the Scene must act in this way as f4"it's physically correct"f1. It's a c07nonsensec08. If so, you could affirm that as human beings are Matter everyone of us must always run around the world because if he stays quiet that's not f4"natural, or better, physically correct"f1?!? Then, c07Forrest Gumpc08 is physically correct... All in all, Magellan, you've drawn a nice picture of a phenomenon, useful, if related to didactic terms, but which can't be substained as a scientific theory. This is for what regards your text. Regarding what I wrote, I would like to remember I simply stated I consider dangerous for our beloved Scene every kind of nationalism and seek for national identity. In other words I dislike those behaviours of sceners considering themselves members of a f4particularf1 Scene with interests and aims which most of the times are different, if not against, from the ones of the others. I said we've to be proud of the c07multiethnical world, c08we've built. Don't let anyone c07destroy c08it. f3c10aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa c01f4QUICK THOUGHTS FROM SHADE... f1c03 I agree with c02The Ripper'sc03 words whole heartedly! If you thought about your statements for long enough c02Magellanc03, you would surly see that the Scene is made up of c04f4peoplec03f1 and not simple matter. Like The Ripper said, the Scene is a sociological phenomena. Although Sceners are undeniably made from these cold scientific components, these basic subcomponents (c04atoms/protons/neutronsc03) go towards making a c02conscious human beingc03. We have emotions: we c04hurtc03, we c04laughc03, we feel c04angerc03, but most importantly we are c02conscious individualsc03. As yet there is no evidence to suggest that atoms possess what we have come to know as a c02consciencec03. Perhaps this is why, as you rightly say, they indiscriminately c02"fight"c03 and make c02"war"c03 with eachother! It's quite absurd and even c02dangerousc03 to suggest humans are in anyway comparable to f4simplef1 atoms - fortunately, we are far too f4complexf1 for that analogy Magellan. If we as a society were to take the path of considering people as mere c02"matter"c03, we would almost certainly run the risk of c04devaluingc03 life, and I'm sure you can appreciate the global consequences of that mistake! When considering atoms, you said: f4"'war' makes the matter itself"f1. Quiet right but, in case you didn't know, humans were f4"made"f1 quite some time ago. The only job left for humans is to c04evolvec03, and making war and further divisions among us can only hinder our evolutionary process.
