I think his negative ironic statements were very unfair to us poor UK sceners. c11 GREAT BRITAIN c13FishWave, why do you insist on continually mocking our f2great f1scene with your unsubtle irony? It's not clever or funny you know. Ok so you mock us, fair enough, but maybe you should get your facts straight before you write f4"reports" f1on our great country! For instance, you said in your article that we have only 17 sceners. Ha! well you are wrong. Infact we have c1221 sceners in the UKc13. Yes that's right, I said 21! We have 2 graphic artists, 2 coders, 1 musician, and 16 swappers (or is that 17 swappers and 1 coder, hmmm I forget.) So now do you feel stupid or what, eh? eh? You also seem to think we aren't very productive in this part of Europe. Again you need to get your facts right Fishwave. Are you forgetting Deadlock which was released by Anathema only 8 months ago. And what about, erm, hmmmm, what about, errr, er, f2c12@*%!$f1c13, hmmmmmm, umm, errrr, hmmmmmmm, f2Oh yeah! f1What about c12Hollywood's c13music disk: f4c12Time And Emotionf1c13. c12Axis UK c13only released that in September 1995 you know. But hey, they're all products of the past; we have a future too you know. What about c12Eltech's c13plans for a UK chart. It's true, they took over the project after c12Maniacs c13were only able to collect 15 votes. Eltech have only had the project since February '96 and c12Wade/Eltech^Gods c13has already collected over 20 votes! Well done Eltech, you sure know how to compete with c12RamJam's Show Timec13! c11 FARTWORK c13Ok I admit, the German Scene is more productive, but, like you said, all your coders use c12Scala Multimedia c13for their demos. Ha! Well our coders mostly use c12Amosc13. That's why it takes us longer to produce stuff - because it's such a complex language. As a result of our coders using Amos, we get top quality productions like the Grass60 intro by c12Grasshoppersc13, while the rest of Europe gets c12f4The Gate f1c13by c12Artwork c13(coded in Scala, gfx scanned, and music ripped) c11 SHADE IS BACK! c13Another thing, I didn't quit the Scene in January. That's a lie! I only quit the Scene in August. This is f2not f1something to make fun of FishWave as I had a very distressing disease. It's called: f4c12"Headyfingeritis" f1c13and only graphic artists get it. It causes your head to shrink and your fingers to drop off. I hear c12RWO/Balance c13had it when he drew the title picture for issue 10 of c12Upstreamc13...you see the effect it can have. Anyway, the doctor has given me new wooden fingers so I'm back for a while (hopefully I'll get my new head soon). So now you see FishWaul, the UK scene is not like taking a sleeping tablet at all - it's like taking f2twof1! (and a bottle of Polish Wit Premium)
