Since  the  23rd  of  July 1996, mails
like  this  one  pop  up in the e-mail
accounts  from all the main-editors of
the  big mags.  The very moment that I
am writing this article,c03 ACBSc01 in Italy
may  just add another online-votesheet
to  his list.  Another one to near the
magic  250  barrier.   Every day a new
one,  two  more,  three  added  to the
impressve list of new votesheets.  All
of  them  real on-line votes, directly
from the following homepage:

c01For  the first time ever, Sceners from
all  nations are enabled to give their
favourite    releases,    groups   and
individual  Sceners  on-line  not only
for  one  particular  chart,  but  for
many.   In  the  case  of  Generation,
Sceners  are even able to fill out our
f4Opinion   Pollf1   Sheet   (compare  the
corresponding  article  in  this  very
issue).

c03Psionic c03 of  c01Steps  of  Changesc03 is the
inventor of this unique concept and he
is  very eager to spread the idea:  'I
am  going  to email (the introductiory
text)  to  all  the  people  on  Lords
email-directory,' the noble englishman
explains  his  plans  and  as far as I
know,  he already succeeded in mailing
his words to all the approximately 675
adresses.   And  people  still keep on
telling me, idealism has vanished...
He   also   hopes  to  add  even  more
magazines.   Favourably  'f4The Official
Eurocharts  as  they are coming back.f1'
Concerning the recent situation of the
diskmag  Scene these days, he believes
in a  future: 'f4The diskmag Scene seems
to   be  picking  up  apart  from c03 RAW
c01dieing, but the return of c03The Official

The  only criticism one could possibly
express  may be that all mags from now
on  may  feature  the  same voters if,
thus ending in normed charts all alike
in every chart.  Still, would this not
be  the  main  idea behind charts?  To
give  an overall close-up from what is
fashionable for the moment, that is.
In  the  end,  this is fictious anyway
for  all  the Sceners not being in the
possession  of  modems.   The  job  of
votecollectors     surely    is    not
endangered for the next years to come.
Psionics  vision  is  a  chance to see

provide for the Scene.

end  of  his  possibilities.  Although
asking  for fresh ideas to improve his
invention,   new   plans  are  already

unlimited  web  space.  Maybe I should
do a massive gallery or something!f1' he
smiles.
