fpc03 THE OPINION POLL SHEET c03 by RokDaZone c01In issue 22 of your favourite mag (you have been manipulated here, my friend), we from the c03Generation-staffc01 introduced thef2 Opinion Poll Sheetf1, which for the first time asked the readership about what kind of articles they actually want to have more from. By this way we thought to give the opportunity to all editors to be as close to the demands of their readers as possible. Within the following few weeks, floods of e-mails reachedc03 Damionc01, c03The Ripper c01and c03mec01. In the frist place we did not expect too much attention, but Sceners are always good for a surprise and so not less than 67 Sceners used their chance to give us their opinion. Therefore more than the total number of votesheets we received for the last issue. Astounding. Marvellous! You are a grand audience. Yet why wasting more bytes? Let us come directly to the reults. We asked, if you wanted to read more reports, reviews, gawping tales, comments, gutter-press articles, human interest stories or poems/shortstories. c02TOPIC c03 DIAGRAPH c01 VOTES/c04PERCENTAGE c02Reviews c01: c03 f2+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++f1 c01 49c02/c0473% c02Reports c01:c03 f2++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++f1 c01 48c02/c0472% c02Comments c01: c03 f2++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ f1 c01 41c02/c0461% c02Gawping c01: c03 f2++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ f1 c01 30c02/c0445% c02Gutter-press c01: c03 f2+++++++++++++++++++++++++ f1 c01 25c02/c0437% c02Human interest c01: c03 f2++++++++++++++++++++ f1 c01 20c02/c0430% c02Shortstories/Poemsc01: c03 f2+++++++++ f1 c01 09c02/c0413% c01Now that is interesting! It seems likec03 Fishwavec01 was not so right in his last issue of c03 SeenPointc01. 'f4Uninteresting reviewsf1', hmm? At least we know that afterall 27% of all readers are actually of the same opinion than our great colleague. Still, we must not forget that his attitude is another one than ours and so it is no wonder that his audience does not entirely follow the mainstream. Also reports are not fashionable withc03 Fishwavec01. In the end this type of articles hits the second rank. Leaves us in the unanswered question if he writes for a primarily for a minority (gutter-press = 37%), why in the world hits he still the highest spheres of the charts? Something must be wrong with our collecting-system. No, just kidding. Respect in all aspects to c03Fishwavec01. c02THE VOTERS c01Without you, the participants, this request would have been quite empty. No this one goes for the rhetoric-section, many diskmags favour this category these days. In order to give the campaign a face, we will now give a little close-up on some interesting voices. The highest possible respect must go to c03Bugge/Independantc01. What a chap! A real professional reader it seems as he wants them all. Yes, you read correctly, Bugge made his cross for every category. Not a big help. Not very representative. Ehrm. Well. Back to the topic. Interesting also c03 Excel/Balancec01. He gives an interesting insight how his diskmag project, which got cancelled lately, could have looked like. He made a cross for all categories except for reviews. At least he there seems to be of the very same opinion than c03Fishwavec01. The man with the longest name/group entry gives a bitter call for culture. c03Higgie/White Bread Crew/LineWarec01 gives a call for poems, shortstories and comments. If all this always has something to do with culture depends on the writer, we would like to underline. Gawping again finds the most fanatic fans. Much likec03 Macnoc01, they often want nothing but gawping, all other fields remain empty. In the case ofc03 Macnoc01 that comes as no surprise surely when comparing the recent versions of c03Abnominoc01. c03Eksec/Infect c01 here gives a single highlight: For Gawping he gave two crosses. Another prominent lover of those strange Scenish shortstories, which always contain a drop of Scenically allday life is c03 Mop/Essencec01. Much like we expected he also wants reports. c03 Rahiem/Essencec01 then again simply demands more mags. Is there someone falling into Mops back? We suppose not, but those rhetoric question then again as stated before are so fashionable, we just have to bring them every now and then. c03Rodney/The Black Lotusc01 enlightens us by the idea to extract BBS', packs and swappercharts from the Generation charts. We are still wondering what this may have to do with our poll? Our very c03 The Ripper/Artwork c01pops up with another surprise eagerly he shouts out for Human interest stories and gutter press. Was this not the fellow we admired for his reasonable and formal journalism? There is an animal inside of this man... Much like in c03Kestrel/Syndromec01. The magpacker underlines that gutterpress is just 'cool!' We impatiently wait for his first haevy attacks against other packmakers in a gawping style, as he also likes those tales. While reports and reviews are not of his type. Shortstories and poems seemingly are not favoured so much. But the topic itself seems to be very controversial. Whilec03 THD/???c01 (sorry) underlines shortstories, c03 Blitter/X-Tradec01 our editor colleague makes his aversion against the once so famous category clear by stressing he just wants 'NO' tales of that kind anymore. c03Spin/Abyssc01 puts bluntly what surely many people feel like: 'f4LESS: Mags write about mags. that's annoying.f1' Well, mate you are not so wring there, but - as explainantion - it is really tempting to write about colleagues. Much like swappers always discuss about the need of swappers. Finally we have the only participant from Russia: c03 G.D.M./Looker hOUSEc01. He favours reports, review and comments thus hitting exactly the leading trio. c02LIST OF VOTERS c03Accede/Astra Syntex Ambient/Rebels Antibrain/Bizarre Arts Astro/Raw Main-ed Axis/Artwork Azure/Artwork Batorgil/???
