hpf1s3c01 ONE YEAR & FIVE YEARS AGO IT HAPPENED by The Ripper c04 FIVE YEARS AGO: c01It is August 1991 and the fifth issue of c02I.c.e.c01, the leading mag produced by c02Cytaxc01, get released. Among its pages you can find some amusing articles such as 'Crackers are lame' and 'Crackers are not lame', just two chapters of an eternal diatribe, or other deep and fashionable articles such as 'Nazi software in the Scene'. The article that can make us reflecting, however, is surely 'The good old times', written by a guy called c02Eddy/Coastc01, in which the author complains about the past almost as most of the Scene likes to do it today. Some sentences taken from his article f4<>. f1Nostalgic. Then we have some thoughts about the Friendship Movement with a meaningful 'Why wars' edited by c02Lizard of Energyc01, which can compete, for its high and deep contents with 'Different lamers' by c02Cyber Piratec01, one of the most productive writers of thos times, and 'Lamer Tips' by a guy named c02Lyzanxiac01, belonging to c02TSL c01(maybe...). Among the others, some of these tips are very interesting and clever: f4<> f1or f4<>. f1No comment. But the pearl is surely the article by c02Black Dragon c01of the group c02Catastrophyc01, 'A lamer sex-story', with a gorgeous final comment to draw a fondamental and unforgettable moral teaching f4<>. f1Clear and concise, what more could we pretend? c04 ONE YEAR AGO: Assembly'95 is hold and shows to have become the biggest and best organized party, beating, after a top position lasted around four years, The Party series. Zif by c02Parallaxc01, ranked first, is considered among the best ever released but it's the c02Pygmy Projects' c01creature that will be remembered as the symbol of the 95's edition of Assembly. Relevant enough to be noticed, is Fruitkitchen by c02Silents c01and the two intros by c02Sonikc01. f4'Compared to The Party IV Assembly is definitely less Scene-party and more game-geek-gathering'. f1Never such a sentence (c02Diesel8 c01owns the rights on it) has been closer to a prophecy. After almost two years of being dead c02Lemon c01reborns. The new members, which are the two Englishmen c02Spaceman c01and c02Dan c01together with the Dutch guys c02Del, Facet, Blazer, Supernao c01and c02Astro, underline immediately they aren't going to release much in the next incoming months. (This is one of the few Scenish promises that have been kept, indeed!)
