86 Station Road, Hessle, North Humberside, HU13 OBG. @3 Dear Amoszine, @4 Congratulations on another fun packed issue. I enjoyed this issue's source tremendously (especially Paul Overy's shooting the blokes type game and Ed Clay's version of my Termites program - nice on Ed!). I read an article on the REAL termites program (called Turmites) in a PC (spit!) mag so I might write a fully featured follow up sometime. But I doubt it... The articles were good this month, but I'd like to complain that the red text was completely unreadable. thank God for the new black and white mode, a really good addition to the mag which aids reading immensely. Unfortunately, I was unable to print out any of the articles (the driver just said my printer was not ready) and I couldn't load them into a Word Processor because they were crunched. Please use Powerpacker (or no crunching) for the articles `Writing for AZ' and `Survey' or make the Print button work. I had to write out notes on the writing for AZ and had to fully write out the questionnaire (poor thing!) @4 Another problem I had was the text at the top-right of the screen that says `Page xx of yy'. I couldn't read the last digit. If only it were 1 character to the left... I am sure I will get used to two column text soon, but I had trouble sussing it out at first. I thought half the AZ writers had gone mental for a few moments @1;-) @4 Here's an idea for a new feature in Amoszine : after reading Lee Bamber's latest diary instalment, why don't you include a `Readers' Bedrooms' feature where readers send in a floorplan of their bedrooms so everyone can gawp at their equipment! Anyway, I don't mean to sound too critical, AZ is improving as ever and I look forward to AZ6 with unbelievable excitement. I just hope I don't wet myself before April... @3 Yours, Mike Richmond @5 I'll confess, the print option on last issue of AZ did not function due to a simple file missing from the disk !!! If you want to fix your copy of ish 5 then simply copy @1L/Port-Handler @5from this disk to issue 5. Sorted @1:) (My apologies to everyone on that matter !) @5 Now your other points: The @2RED @5text colour has been revamped for this issue and I hope it is better for everyone, although I didn't have any probs with the old value ! The same applies to the @1Page x of x @5at the top right. Did anyone else have any probs with it ? (I think Mike is using one of those tiny wrist watches to view AZ) hehehe @1:) @5 As for the -Readers Bedrooms- point ? Erm, well, any offers ? Please see other articles on this disk which cover important points about de-crunching any article. @1(by the way Mike, the AZ_WRITING article is no longer crunched as requested - I'm just so helpful) @5 C'mon, send you letters into me at my address (elsewhere in this issue) Thanx to Mike for being the ONLY one to write in with his comments and also his suggestions. As you can see from this issue, I do take note of anything you have to say as far as AZ goes. (all those changes just for Mike !) @1 Andy Gibson
