Additional Samples on the female version have been done by my Julie
(soap watching) girlfriend aged 27

Note
====
I decided to do a bingo game because I've seen versions that use the
AMIGA say command and found they don't do the AMIGA justice when the
AMIGA is capable of playing real sampled speech, nowadays most machines
have 1 to 2 megs of Chip memory so why not take advantage of it in a game
most musicians do with there music modules, so take care before deciding
to try this game out of your machine if it's only got half meg chip & half
meg fast memory (external), it may not work, Chip mmemory is were all
the speech samples are stored. the very old AMIGAS are left by the
wasteside these days.

IMPORTANT
=========
If anyone would like there own Speech samples put in the program then I
will do the Job for £5.00, you can either send the samples on a disk
or you could send a audio cassette with them on, the list of samples I
need are at the END of this text file, I will add more if you want me
to, yet make sure you have enough memory in your machine, I average
approx 8,000 bytes for each sample in my game.

BINGO consists of 2 games on a card or more than one card if you can
manage to keep up with the caller.

The first game you must have a horizontal line of numbers that have
been called out by the bingo caller on any row.

The second game you must have a full house, which means all the numbers
on your card must have been called out by the caller.

A tip is to circle all the numbers with a pen, this enables the caller
or checker to check your cards more clearly against the checker board
on the computer screen.

On this disk are two text files consisting of Bingo Cards, you can print
them out if you have a printer & you set the preferences to your printer,
you can either print the full list of cards or you can dump from screen
to your printer by Pressing Shift & D when a card is shown on the screen
that you want to print out, for those who don't know much about the ppmore
text viewer, try pressing the HELP key for more options about PPMORE.

NOTE
====
I wish to thank Dave Brown writer of Bingo Professional for the above
text card files from his disk, and thank him & his game for giving me the
inspiration to program Super Bingo ver 2.0

If you don't have a printer then I suggest you either buy some cards from
the places that supply the Bingo clubs or draw your own and photo copy
them.

Super Bingo Program info
========================
The main screen consists of 90 oblong panels that display numbers
1 to 90 when they are called out.

On the left top of the display are Pitch & Speed values,

PITCH is used to alter the speed of samples played from very slow
to very fast cartoon type speech speed, I haven't allowed you to play
them over fast or over slow so the settings have a minimum to maximum
setting, use the left & right cursor keys to alter pitch.

NOTE I made the speech echo a little to give the impression of being in a
bingo hall/club and it adds slight depth to the speech.

SPEED is used to alter the gap time between each number called from 0
to 5000, 5000 is much to big for the speed of A500 machines 2000 is
recommended max for those machines. because A1200 are faster I had to
have a 5000 max setting, Note if you prefer to control the speed of each
number called then you could make the setting to max and you then can
bypass the gap time by pressing the <- left arrow key left to the DEL
key on the keyboard, thus giving a more realistic varied gap time between
each number.

Under the title you have a display panel that shows you in text what the
machine is doing next.

On the top right you have another panel that shows PAUSE mode on/off

When a New game is ready to play you press the mouse key to start the
game, the machines then calls out random numbers from 1 to 90 and
highlights them on the panels with yellow backgrounds.

The bingo players with there tickets are filling the numbers called
on the bingo cards, when a play shouts "HERE" or "LINE" or even
"BINGO" the computer operator of checker must press the left Mouse
button on the MOUSE to stop the machine calling more numbers, you must
then check the players card(S) against the ones called,

Checking card numbers is as follows, using the left mouse button and the
screen pointer you click on the number corresponding to the one on
the card(s), they screen panels will highlight with a WHITE background
to show you what numbers have been checked.

If the checking the card(s) turn out to be a ERROR you can carry on with
the game for a LINE by pressing the ESC key (takes you back),

If the card(s) check out OK then to play for a FULL HOUSE you must
click the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON. LMB for checking RMB to continue ESC
to restart LINE Game or HOUSE game.

The things you do when checking for a FULL HOUSE, after a full house as
been played the machine reverts back to being ready for a NEW game again.

While the game is calling out numbers you can alter the PITCH & SPEED.

Also a added feature is to display large numbers on the screen while
the the game is calling the numbers out, to switch the numbers display
on/off you use the SPACE BAR on the keyboard.

The numbers display screen can be positioned in 3 places while the machine
is calling the numbers, +/- keys ared used to do that, You could position
your monitor or TV facing the players so they can also see the numbers
that are called out.
