After running this demo on my NEW hard disk - I noticed an error on my workbench partition, This time - I just reformated the partition and backed up from my old HD However - After having unknowingly downloaded the same demo again, and trying it on my old HD - (the new one is currently unusable thanks to a storm bringing a powercut), I noticed a similar error- which took about 2 hours of fixing with a mixture of qbtools and disksalv - however, after this - some programs on muy utils partition also failed, this took a "repair" and a "validate" with disksalv to fix. The file demo/par94/MuchAdoAbout.lha contains a copy of the Commander virus in c/Type. Use util/virus/VChck647.lha to remove it. Luckily, the virus contains no damage code, it just spreads. We are currently investigating why our UNIX version of virus_checker does not report this one. Apologies! Could someone confirm this? Confirmed, MuchAdoAbout* contained a virus on most places where it appeared, including Aminet. c/Type is 3000+ bytes long and contains the Commander virus. While I'm talking: The Nexus7.lha which was corrupt originally has been fixed, in case anyway doesn't have it yet. -Urban
