This is the disclaimer for comp.sys.amiga.reviews.

This document was last revised 12-03-91.

This is the disclaimer that covers all articles posted to
comp.sys.amiga.reviews, be they written by me (Jason Tibbitts) or another
person. The language included here does not supersede any such language
included in the individual postings, but instead acts in addition to such
language.

1. Spirit of disclaimer

I'm simply trying to reduce the chance of me or my school being sued. I'm a
volunteer attempting to do the Amiga UseNet community a favor by acting
as an editor for an online reviews column, and my school is generously
providing the computer time and network access. I want to be able to do my
job as the moderator freely. I am simply a filter through which a review
passes. I make sure that there are no spelling errors and that it conforms
to a certain format.

I do not have the power to verify the complete correctness of any
published material. I do leave channels open for the publishing of
corrections, however. I also welcome official responses from the
manufacturers and publishers of reviewed products.

2. Language of disclaimer

By submitting a review to the moderator, the submitter implicitly agrees
that the material may be posted on UseNet and included in:
    1. Newsletters and other printed matter available freely with a copying
and distribution fee of not more than $2.00 an issue, and
    2. Newsletters on magnetic media and other forms of magnetic
distribution such as the UseNet summary disks available freely with
a copying and distribution fee of not more than $6.00.
    3. Electronic network distributions, either by the standard UseNet
distribution or on a commercial information system (i. e. the Portal
System) charging no more than $6.00 per hour of non-prime time 2400
baud connection not including local access charges (i. e. Telenet or
       Tymnet access charges).

Errors in typing, transmission, etc. and inaccuracies of commission or
omission may occur, and neither the moderator nor the University of Houston
System assumes liability for these errors.

Material submitted is the responsibility of the submitter. Neither the
moderator nor the University of Houston System will be held liable for the
accuracy or content of such material. In addition, neither the moderator
nor the University of Houston System will be held liable by either
submitters or users of such material for any errors of omission or
commission the moderator may make.

If you disagree with these conditions, do not make use of the information
the moderator posts to comp.sys.amiga.reviews, and do not submit material
to the moderator.
