	I recently received a Beta release of the Manx C compiler (5.2b)
that supports the inline math code for the 68040 (I believe SAS C already
has this support) and I recompiled my DFT program and made two more
timings.  The small DFT ran in 37 seconds, compared to 46 seconds with the
older version.  The larger DFT ran in 60:27 minutes compared to 76:45
before.  These new timings show a 25% speed increase and makes the machine
just about as fast as a SPARC SLC.
