This spell allows a Necromancer to bind an already-existing raw plasmic mass to a necromantically attuned material item. The target item must be processed with necromantic enchanting in some way (Fetishes, ritual materials, foci, etc). The Anchor Plasm spell must be cast at a level at least equal to the Force of the Plasmic Mass to be anchored. Once Anchored, the raw mass no longer degrades, instead remaining at its current strength (Subject to normal plasmic fluctuations, of course). The Core of the Anchored Mass will center on the target item.

This... rather odd spell uses a ShadowBound ghost to animate the caster's shadow as a temporary Ally Spirit. The Courser spell must be cast at at least the Force of the animating spirit. The Spirit possesses its normal Powers and Weaknesses, its own or its creators Mental Attributes (Whichever is higher), and its own physical stats. It has a Telepathic and Sense Link with its creator, but no other Ally Powers. The Caster may Control the shadowspirit's actions with a resisted Willpower roll regardless of distance. While the spell is in effect, the Caster's shadow detaches from him, and can travel as the animating spirit can. While the spell is in effect, the Caster must resist any damage inflicted on his shadow as well. If the shadow is destroyed in combat (etc) WITHOUT him dying, he will no longer possess a shadow, and any damage inflicted on him by the destruction can NEVER be healed.

The Caster of the Crucible spell uses an Enchanting Lab to transform Protoplasm into ectoplasm. The spell must be cast at a Force at least equal to that of the Mass to be transformed, and the resultant ectoplasm will have a Force equal to the number of Successes on the spell-casting roll. The entire process requires 1 hr per Force transformed, and must be sustained the entire time.

This is the Spell a Necromancer uses to turn himself into a Litch -- a ghost that refuses to leave its body even after it dies. The Ritual Materials for this spell are unique to it, and must be bought and prepared specifically for the spell. They consist of a mixture of, among other things, several deadly, slow-acting natural poisons for which no known antitoxin or treatment exists: You only get one shot at this Rite, because you WILL die from attempting it. It's just a question of whether your ghost takes up where you left off in your body. It has been reported that some few Litches have occurred in cases where a victim of Deadly Damage manages to cast this spell instinctively, but the target number in this case is 24, with NO modifiers allowed.

Fetter spins an ectoplasmic Link to allow remote targeting of necromantic spells. By adding +2 to the Drain target per extra hour, the Caster can extend the normal Ritual Duration of the spell as well. For the spell's duration, the Caster can target the spells Target with any necromantic magics with a LoS range, regardless of the target's location. Note that the link works both ways, by the way, if the target is a Necromancer, and that any necromancer in the target's presence can detect the Fetter, and can use it as a Ritual Link for necromantic spells.

Prep-spell for Enchanting or Quickening a Ghost to a person or item. The so-bound spirit is not controlled or constrained in any way except that they must remain in the presence of their anchor, which is why they aren't an Ally (ie, covered by the Shadow Pact spell). When used to Enchant an item, any necromantically enchanted focus will do, and the Ghost will be bound to the item unless it's destroyed, but the Haunt spell must actually be Sustained throughout the entire enchanting process. The Force of the Haunt spell must equal or exceed the Force of the Bound Spirit.

This Prep spell is used to bind Gheisrheidi into physical forms when they are Conjured. The Conjuring Materials used for this are unique to this use of this spell, and must be purchased separately, then fed to the target animals. The Caster's Prep'd-for Conjuring Roll may only use a maximum number of dice equal to the successes on the Hunter's Horn success test. When so used, the Conjured Gheisrheid Spirit(s) use their Inhabit Power on the targeted creatures (See Critter desc for details).

This requires the use of the Enchanting skill, with a base time of 10 days and a Target Number of 4 to prepare the corpse properly, followed by an application of the Corpse Cadavre spell to animate the creature. The enchanting materials required to prepare the corpse cost 1,000 nuyen.*n*nOnce the corpse cadavre has been animated (and the spell sustained for 20 turns), it is permanent, though it will eventually rot away in a month or two.*n*nThe caster of the spell can issue simple commands to the zombie and have it carry out basic tasks. Zombies accept spoken commands from their creator.

This dangerous spell externalizes the caster's EEP... on the up side, he gains the modifiers to being perceived that ectoplasm has... on the down side, the spell must be cast at a Force at least equal to his PEEP rating, and ADDS its Force to both Necrosis and Cacophony while in effect, and when the spell lapses, he must roll Spirit Strength vs. the elevated values or take the Force as damage to Aura Integrity (the Necrosis Roll) and Aura Cohesion (The Cacophony Roll).
