Rubba Dubb Ducks Ltd was formed in the autumn 1976. The idea came to life when one of the founders, Bamse-Bjorn Fjøltjøft, took a bath and discovered that his yellow rubber duck had sunk. After a short time of sorrow, he decided that he would start an own rubber duck factory, and produce real quality rubber ducks.

His good friend, Haakon Stilleben was a good inventor and had already developed the main parts for a good norwegian rubber duck. The first years, production was located in Haakons small garage, just outside of Hamar, with their main clientel in their neighbours. As the years went by, Rubba Dubb Duck Ltd expanded, and now they are world renownded, and deliver ducks to most of the european royal-houses.

Rubba-Dubb Ducks Ltd. employs over 4000 people all over the world, from the HQ in Buenos Aires to the factories in underpaid, underdeveloped third-world countries such as Sweden. There are also plans to open an own college, the Rubba Dubb Ducks College, in the USA. The college will research and develop new rubber duck models. Take a look at the rubber duck future.
