Bounding Box 2 is a Modeler plug-in. Copy the "BBox2.p" file into your "..\NEWTEK\PLUGINS\MODELER\" folder.
To Install the plug-in for use in Modeler, use the "Add Plugin" function from the Custom menu in the Objects panel. Select the "BBox2.p" file in the file requester. For information on installing plug-ins, refer to your LightWave documentation.
After the plug-in is installed, activate it from the Custom menu in the Objects panel. It will appear as "Bounding_Box" -- the underscore delineates it from the NewTek version.
The total number of points in the active Foreground layers.
The size of the Bounding Box encompassing all of the points in the active Foreground layers. The three values specify the geometry's size in the X, Y and Z axes, respectively.
The minimum and maximum bounds of the Bounding Box encompassing all of the points in the active Foreground layers. There are two rows of three values each. The first row's three values specify the minimum bounds of the geometry in the X, Y and Z axes, respectively. The second row's three values specify the maximum bounds of the geometry in the X, Y and Z axes, respectively.
The center of the Bounding Box encompassing all of the points in the active Foreground layers. The three values specify the geometry's center in the X, Y and Z axes, respectively.
Below the Bounding Box information is an option to create a Bounding Box object that will encompass all of the points in the active Foreground layers. Check this option to create the Bounding Box. The Bounding Box will be created in the first active Foreground layer.
You may Undo the Bounding Box to delete the original object and leave only the Bounding Box. Two more Undo's will restore the original object.
The status of the Make Bounding Box checkbox will be remembered for the next time the plug-in is invoked.
