ATTENTION!!!

This version of the Z.A.R game is intended for free testing over Internet
and local network.

It is the NETWORK DEMO version. It contains 12 network levels that are also
included in the commercial version.
This version contains 2 SINGLE PLAYER LEVELS (as opposed to the
commercial version, containing 33 single player levels). This version
includes the program "Z.A.R. Navigator", designated for fast search
of Z.A.R. servers on Internet and connection to them.

This network demo version of the game is located at:

1. INSTALLATION
  * Copy files ZAR000.ZIP, ZAR001.ZIP, ZAR002.ZIP, ZAR003.ZIP in a separate
    directory.
  * Unpack these files:
      PKUNZIP -D ZAR000.ZIP
      PKUNZIP -D ZAR001.ZIP
      PKUNZIP -D ZAR002.ZIP
      PKUNZIP -D ZAR003.ZIP
  * Delete files ZAR000.ZIP, ZAR001.ZIP, ZAR002.ZIP, ZAR003.ZIP.

2. SOUND INSTALLATION
  You must set up sound before the first start of Z.A.R. game. Start
  SETSOUND.BAT to make this. Follow the instructions of the program
  to configure sound.

3. START!
 PLAYING OVER INTERNET (ONLY FROM WINDOWS 95):
  Switch to folder (directory), in which the game is installed and run
    ZAR_NAV.EXE
  The Z.A.R Navigator program will be started. It will allow you to find
  Z.A.R. servers in Internet and to connect to one of them. For more
  details, see Help in the Z.A.R Navigator program.

 SINGLE PLAYER OR PLAYING OVER LOCAL NETWORK (WINDOWS 95):
  Switch to folder (directory), in which the game is installed and run:
    ZSPAWN.EXE   - to start the game on 486 and any Pentium(R) processors.
    ZSPAWNMX.EXE - to start the game on Pentium(R) with MMX(TM) and Pentium II.

 SINGLE PLAYER OR PLAYING OVER LOCAL NETWORK (DOS):
  Switch to folder (directory), in which the game is installed and run:
    RUNZAR.BAT   - to start the game on 486 and any Pentium(R) processors.
    RUNZARMX.BAT - to start the game on Pentium(R) with MMX(TM) and Pentium II.

Notes:
  1. You can play over Internet ONLY from Windows 95.
