Mushroom PD updated pages! (December 97) Removed the Mailform requests for PD, as not only was I being swamped with requests which were taking up to 3 weeks to send out, but 90% of them were false email address' which resulted in me having to d/l megs and megs of returned archives. Also changed the colour of the link palette on the FTP pages, as some people were having problems with reading it. Homepages being re-written! Im going through another process of re-writing my homepages, which will definately contain lots more AMOS information. Some of the changes that will be incorporated, will be the implementation of my WWW server, which will work alongside the FTP client, to provide you with the best possible services. I shall also be adding updated pages (every day) for the AMOS Mailinglist, which you can read the day's articles directly from here. These pages will be updated with every new message which comes in, and will also allow you to respond to messages directly from the homepages!!! I have a few other small things planned, but would like to especially here from you, the people who keep coming back to the pages over and over again. Please email me at mushypd@redrose.net telling me in detail what you would like to see on the pages, and what would make you keep coming back to this, the world's most popular AMOS web pages!! Team AMOS and the AMOS developers forms have been added. These allow you to make comments which can be passed onto extension developers, so you will be able to see more of what you want!! AMOS Mailinglist now echoed to the newsgroup alt.religion.amos as well as echoing any postings directly to the list. Why not send a message now by clicking on the link!! If you haven't been to my pages before the 6th of March, you wont know what this is all about. My old pages used to be less informative, and not have much in the way of the stock of PD that I have in the library, and it had lots of chunky graphics to load, which took several minutes sometimes to load into the browser. These new pages use a series of buttons to flick through the various parts of the pages, and each one uses less than 800 bytes, so there is no loading time hardly at all. I also added the cool beavis animation, as I laughed when I fiesrt saw it. I have no idea who wrote it, as it was in my Fiancee's PC drive. All PD sections are now online, fully updated with a new feature of being able to recover the .Žeadme file for inspection. At the moment, the sections for ordering AMOS Pd are down, as the file is so big, it is gonna take me a couple of days to make an AMOS procedure which will go through my library, list all of the files to a HTML file in order, create HTML tags etc and allow the program to read the doc files from the already existent docs. This will provide the user with a fully interactive view of my library, and hopefully make ordering PD over the net a lot easier than it has been before. Any problems with these pages at all, please conatct me immediately. I had some problems with IBrowse on the pages, as the fonts sometimes stayed big. The pages were written on amiga, and tested on AWEB and Netscape, and I didnt find any errors, but I dare say I shall find one or two!! I have placed a section named ADVERTISE MPD in which you can submit AMOS URL's to me, as well as acquire a piece of source code via email to include in your homepages to advertise my PD library. I will also advertise your AMOS homepages, and if you read the section you will see how to get GFX for your pages into the buttons area! At the moment, the pages are mainly text. I hope to change this, as I feel it looks kind of pale. I will be changing bits and pieces of the pages no doubt for days at a time, so they will probably be different in some way each time you come to log onto them, so please experiment with the various pages and see how they look. Your comments and critisisms will be taken into account, and if you dont like something, I will remove it as soon as possible. I want to add a lot more sections to the library, but my ideas are starting to run dry. Im thinking of uploading the AMOS List archive for each month, depending on if I have the drive space to do it. When my 200Mb Webspace is activated, you can surely guarantee I will upload it, with a whole lot more AMOS products and titles. Extreme AMOS now has its own section, and is split into 2. The section now contains several screenshots from the issue, so you can see how it looks. Its worth a look if you haven't seen Extreme AMOS yet. There is also information on getting involved with the 4th edition of Extreme AMOS, which is sure to be the biggest issue yet!! I added Downloadable links for the FD Extension, and also the GUI Extension V1.70 release. Thjis release has plenty of examples and also the TCP Docs included.
