Submit Mushroom PD titles

Submitting your own titles for inclusion in my library couldn't be any easier. Simply archive the file into either an Lha, LZX or DMS file, and email it to me at mpd@mushy-pd.demon.co.uk along with a readme file for it.

Whats a Readme file?

A Readme file is used to give a brief explanation to the user/downloader about what the archive is about. A readme file must contain 4 lines at the very top, which are read by my AMOS routine, as well as Aminet. Here is an example readme file:

Short: Extreme AMOS 3. AMOS Disk magazine packed full of AMOS docs and tips
Author: Andrew "Mushroom" Kellett (mpd@mushy-pd.demon.co.uk)
Uploader: Andrew "Mushroom" Kellett (mpd@mushy-pd.demon.co.uk)
Type: AMOS_PD/Disk_Magazine

Now for a brief description of what each of those mean:

Short: - A piece of text read by Aminet programs, and my library, which gives a brief description of the archive contents. No more than 1000 characters.

Author: - Name (and email if known) of the person/persons who wrote the software in the archive. If a collection of various people, then you can just use Various.

Uploader: - Name (and email address) of the person who is uploading the archive. The person uploading doesnt have to have written the program.

Type: - The type of program it is. If its a game you would put AMOS_PD/Game, or a utility would be AMOS_PD/Utility etc.

All archives sent to me will be evaluated. If you are unsure about any archives, then email me and ask me for advice at mpd@mushy-pd.demon.co.uk or just email the archive to the same address, and I will have a look at it.
