Welcome to Mushroom PD !!! First of all, I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit my homepages. If you have been here a while ago, you may have noticed that these pages have undergone some amazing transformations! I have eliminated the old, large chunky graphics on most of the pages, and replaced them with much smaller sized files. This cuts down the time for loading, and also the amount of memory used by your browser. You will also notice the panel of buttons on the left hand side. These are there as a shortcut to each of the sections on the library pages. Just click any button at any time to go anywhere. On the bottom of each page is a small banner, which when clicked on, will return you to this page. You will also see various notices about my FTP site everywhere. This is an AMOS FTP site in which you can download AMOS code, programs etc. much faster than your WWW browser can, simply copy the FTP address mushy-pd.dyn.ml.org to your favourite FTP site, and log in as anonymous, making sure that you send your email address as the password, otherwise it wont let you in. The FTP site is only active when I am online, which is unfortunate at the moment, but good news is, i have bursts where I leave my Amiga online for 3-4 days at a time before giving it a bit of a breather at night, so you should be able to access it pretty regulary. The best times are between 8am and 5pm USA Eastern time, when my wife is at work and I have the house (and my Amiga) to myself! AMOS SOURCE CODE RELEASED!! After a long battle, the source code for AMOS itself has finally been released to a new team of eager developers. The team would greatly like to hear what you would like to see improved in this excellent, and yet easy to learn language. At the moment, the discussion is hitting the main features, such as AGA and Graphics card support, which are definately going to be re-worked and make AMOS compatible with any screenmode whatsoever. Other features, such as Locale, AHI, GIF, JPG, PNG and a whole array other other ideas are currently being discussed on the AMOS mailinglist. If you do not wish to join the list, you can still follow all of the latest action on the newsgroup alt.religion.amos, in which all mails sent to the AMOS list are posted by myself, and also, all news postings made to the group, also get posted to the list. All comments made will definately be taken into consideration, so keep up on the latest gossip, and either make a contribution to the newsgroup, or fill out this AMOS Developers Form where your comments will also be sent to the list on your behalf. Usenet AMOS news! Due to some serious messing around, and a few hours of whining to my ISP, which is D&E Supernet, I have been able to pull in the newsgroup alt.religion.amos to the USA and worldwide servers, with no help from Redrose. This newsgroup is in fact an AMOS newsgroup, set up a while back by Paul Burkey. From the 1st August, all mail sent to the AMOS Mailinglist will be mirrored to the newsgroup, and the same with articles sent to the newsgroup, will be sent to the mailinglist. Im writing some new mailinglist software which makes this process easy, and it will be on sale from these very pages, along with a demo, very soon.
