AMOSPro .FD Extension
Well, its finally here - FD support for AMOSPro! This nifty little extension allows you to convert .FD files which come with a lot of DOS libraries, directly into AMOSPro extensions! These extensions can be used directly from your programs, and compiled with the ease of use!

The FD creator is written by our excellent friend, Pietro Ghizzoni, who also wrote the GUI Extension - the most powerful OS extension for AMOSPro. Pietro is also working on the update for AMOSPro 3, along with myself.

Installation

In order for the builder to work, there must be an assign called FD: in which all of your .FD files will be held. Once compiled, you will need to add the AMOSPro_FD.Lib file to your AMOSPro setup, and place it into slot 25. You only need to do this once, and that is after you build the first set of files.

Downloading

You can get the file here by holding Shift + clicking the link. Once you have unpacked the Lha file, simply run the program from workbench/cli, select the FD files you wish to compile into the library, hit the magic button, and you are away!!

Known FD Files + Archives

These are a selection of libraries I have found on Aminet which contain .FD files which may be able to be used. I havent tried any of them myself, but if you do have problems with any of them, you should inform me at mushypd@redrose.net so I can put comments next to the file, or remove it if it doesnt work.
