This program is copyright © 1989 by Robert A. Schader You may consider this program as Freeware. Use it as you please. Alot of you may have seen other programs that modify how the system's gadgets appear. Well, I think that this one is the best. The gadgets look good with the systems default colors even on a 1 bitplane screen. The gadgets were somewhat styled from the openlook/motif styles on UNIX machines. I had had high hopes of also altering the Workbench's window gadgets (scroll gadgets and arrows) but that proved too difficult after numerous attempts. If anyone can help me on this, get in touch with me. NOTE: This program modifies the IntuitionBase structure in a way which is documented but not approved by Commodore. It may not work with future versions of the Amiga OS. It does, however, work well with the current OS (I am running the V1.3 enhancer package without 1.3 ROMS - waiting for 1.4 before doing the ROM upgrade.) I would appreciate hearing from anyone if this works with the 1.3 ROMS. To run the program, type the program name in a CLI or install it in your startup-sequence. The program will immediately modify the first screen's gadgets and anything else (windows or screens) which are opened later will have the new gadgets. Any windows which are already opened when the program is executed will still have the old gadgets attached. Also, any screens which use a LORES width of 320 pixels will not be affected (who uses those anyway?). Windows with old gadget images may be updated by closing and then reopening them. Enjoy and let me know what you think. Robert Schader 3631 Colby S.W. Wyoming, MI 49509 (616)531-6083 GENIE RSCHADER P.S.
