I have aborted the attempt to upload in time. It's already past 5pm and
I've only reached 34%. If it goes on like that it will take till 7 or 8pm. 
I hope you don't regard a 2MB mail as "unsolicited bulk mail", but if I
don't send at least the important parts by mail then a lot of work and
stress would have been in vain :-/

The file AF_MakeCD_stripped.tar.gz in the mail is complete, i.e. there are
no missing links. I have just left out any references to and the
binaries for V2.5 - this version is obsolete anyway.
