Here's a list of 21 changes to the CD that should be made. I'll carry on
having a look, but we can say that the deadline for me on this will be
tomorrow lunchtime, to give you time to get it cut, unless you say
different.

BTW. Alison didn't like the show CD idea... :(

1. Are we having 2.95 voyager on this CD?

2. In Coverdisks, put PPaint at the root instead of inside 110a

3. Af110b and subscribers: the icons are different ways around. I'd say m=
ove the
AF110b icons to match the subs drawer

4. In Ben_Speaks can you add an s to the appropriate place in this part o=
f the
ben.html file:

"A4000T (unless of course, those machine that Quikpak were going to make =
really
exist"                                  ^

5. In essential websites, did you put those <BR>s in on purpose? You seem=
 to be
able to scroll down a lot further than is strictly necessary. Get rid of =
a
couple of them...

6. I thought we'd changed the Submissions advice file for this month? He=
re's the
text that needs changing:

"email contribution. You can send your entry by MIME email to
afcdsubs@futurenet.co.uk."

change it to:

"email contribution. You can send your entry as an lha/lzx/zip archive by=
 MIME
email to afcdsubs@futurenet.co.uk."

7. In the subscriptions info page can you take out the following line:

"World Wide Web: http://www.futurenet.co.uk/amigaformat.html*"

8. AFCD26:-Seriously_Amiga-/Shareware/Comms/Other/Miami30_Install

is this the full install? It comes in several parts...

9. AFCD26:-Seriously_Amiga-/Shareware/Comms/Other/tcpdl should be in WWW

10. Move AFCD26:-Seriously_Amiga-/Shareware/Sound/karami to CD-ROM

11. Change the text in AFCD26:-ScreenPlay-/Commercial/quakeplayer/AFDocs =
to make
sure that it will fit on the screen in Topaz (72 chars should do it.)

12. AFCD26:-ReaderStuff-/-Gallery-/Mark_Green/DirtyFace.jpg.Readme
AFCD26:-ReaderStuff-/-Gallery-/Mark_Green/Spooky.Readme
are both powerpacked which causes Multiview to crash if you don't have pp=
 on
your machine. Please unpack them.

13. AFCD26:-ReaderStuff-/-Gallery-/Barry_Beukhof
AFCD26:-ReaderStuff-/-Gallery-/Nils-Erik_Skilnand

If these people's only contribution is a WB screenshot, it can stay in th=
eir
ReaderStuff directory since it's not really an original artwork. Barry's
picture from Monkey Island 2 can go too. In fact, lose the icon and put i=
t with
the guide since that calls it. I know that this will reduce our Gallery t=
o just
seven entries this month, but so be it.

14. Edit AFCD26:-ReaderStuff-/-ReaderGames-/Archived_Disks/AF_DMS.docs so=
 it makes
sense for this CD.

15. Gallery prize to AFCD26:-ReaderStuff-/-Gallery-/Phil_Price

Reader prize to AFCD26:-ReaderStuff-/Gaz_Murfin (for sheer quantity - you=
 see a
prize for most bytes contributed!)

16. Move AFCD26:-In_the_Mag-/DeskJets
AFCD26:-In_the_Mag-/Caches to AFCD26:-In_the_Mag-/Under_the_Bonnet (the o=
nes
currently in it apply mainly to *last* month's tutorial, so Simon must ju=
st be
catching up).

17. AFCD26:-In_the_Mag-/Demos/F1Software is just a game isn't it? It's no=
t a
megademo kind of thing, so move it to Screenplay/shareware. Let's also re=
name
the demos drawer to "MegaDemos"

18. Replace the text in the script file for Ben_Speaks with:

if exists env:seenit
run >nil: <nil: :c/afcdview :-Websites-/frames.html
else
run >nil: <nil: :c/afcdview :-Websites-/start.html
setenv seenit 1
endif

19. In essential websites, the html looks like this at the moment:

<IMG SRC=3D"AMIGAFORMATLOGO.GIF" WIDTH=3D400 HEIGHT=3D142>
<br><big><b>Welcome to AFCD26 - Essential Websites</b></big>
<tr>
<td>
<P>
<LI><BIG>Amiga Sites</BIG>
<P>
   <ul type=3Dsquare>

please change this like so:

<IMG SRC=3D"AMIGAFORMATLOGO.GIF" WIDTH=3D400 HEIGHT=3D142>
<br><big><b>Welcome to AFCD26 - Essential Websites</b></big>
<tr>
<td>
If your website doesn't appear here, you have to ask yourself why not. Th=
is is
the best selection of Amiga websites available on CD and if you want to h=
ave
yours on here, whether you're a user, or a big Amiga company, simply cont=
act <a
href=3D"mailto:afcdsubs@futurenet.co.uk">afcdsubs@futurenet.co.uk</a> for=
 further
details. =

<tr>
<td>
<P>
<LI><BIG>Amiga Sites</BIG> =

<P>
   <ul type=3Dsquare>

20. Dave Charnow's website is still missing the "other Art" pic.

21. When you click on the H&P link, you are taken to a page explaining wh=
ere the
archives are. Update this so it reads properly (it's -websites-).
