˙˙00˙ ˙00˙01˙03˙01Defence Poetry˙00 ˙˙ ˙03˙02PUH / AGONY ˙01˙01˙00˙ ˙Having read my chemistry book to the core, I felt my fantasy run away. I fell asleep right there, with my head neatly set on my notebook and my mind wandering away into the lands of dreams. It stopped just outside a pub in heaven. Inside the pub, FiShWaVe sat and got drunk together with RoKdaZone and da mates. At first I thought I'd join them; it would, after all, be nice to have a word with them and see what they were like. But then, pressing my ear against the glass window, I heard that they were making a fool out of me and mocking me like nobody else had been mocked before. They composed what they referred to as "Puh poetry". God knows from where they had stolen those lines, but it sounded quite inviting. After half an hour they were done, and they demanded the attention of all the sceners inside the pub. There were quite a lot of them, even though it seemed many of them had left for the day. ˙ ˙"Hey, guys, listen to this!", RoKdaZone yelled. "It's mine and Fishy's latest Puh poem!" ˙ ˙Everybody turned their heads towards Rocky, and he read out: ˙˙02 ˙Can you imagine how good life would be if there was no Puh / Agony? Every rock, and stick, and tree would form a crystal, perfectly. Every thing and every face would have its certain time and place; the sea would be the brightest blue, and every day the sky would, too. How beautiful would be our world if Puh did not command it if all were straight and never curled: perhaps we should demand it! ˙˙01Almost everybody seemed to like his poem tremendously much, and they gave him a great deal of applause. He noticed that he was popular with pleasure. Hell, he was even ordered a free beer by the crowd. But right there, in between, I saw some guys sitting patiently, not celebrating Rocky's and Fishy's victory. Perhaps these guys knew that it wasn't much of a victory after all, since I had not been given the opportunity to defend myself; what if these guys were my fans? I realized that I could not disappoint my disciples, opened the door and entered the building. "Hey you!", I screamed and pointed angrily at Fishy. He grew white. He had never seen me before, and he had expected me to be small, pale and ugly, just about the way he looked himself (?). Instead, he found the guy he had played so many tricks on tall, strong, and good-looking. I felt my muscles grew. I looked like a cool, fearless warrior. FiShWaVe felt his mind running away, and he looked like Dr.Baltazar. "Hey you!", I repeated. "What the FUCK do you mean by that?" "Euh... Well... Now..." There was no red thread in his words, and I felt I had to attack when he still was searching for his gauntlet. I have never been good at real-time stand-up defence poetry, but now I surprised myself: ˙02 ˙You think a world sans Agony would be a lovely place to be. I said this recently myslef, choosing articles in SeenPoint's shelf. Yet, pondering that ordered bliss, I thought of all that you would miss; like rolling waves upon the sea and sugar for your morning tea. There'd be no hate or anger, joy or grief there'd be no fractaled maple leaf; no beauty in the summer wood should Agony be gone for good. What bore, to know each day would turn out in the SeenPoint way! ˙˙01 My fans in the middle of the room smiled. Fishwave looked like something the cat just dragged in. I had won. Victory! I woke up in the middle of the night. My stereo was still on, my desk lamp was shining, and there was drewl all over my chemistry book. I was no longer the king. The muscles that had coined my body just minutes ago were gone, and I was in no way able to perform any real-time stand-up poetry. What would happen when I met Fishy ay the party, would he attack me at once, and would there be any fans for me? I knew no answers as I walked the two metres to my bed and went to sleep again. I was hoping to return to the land where I was king. ˙01
